Just been watching a Royal Institution video about genetics and cabbages were mentioned, so immediately made me think of Runescape's obsession with cabbages.

So cabbages have a 5 times larger genome than humans. The reason they think is that DNA accumulates old viruses and information and cabbage DNA is very good at collecting trash.
