The transition of Winter to Spring as told by Mother Nature:
The Snowdrops have come and gone, as have the Jonquils and Daffodils. The Forsythia has bloomed and is now sprouting tender green leaves in abundance. The Hyacinth are slowly fading now. The Dogwoods are opening their beautiful white blossoms in the woods looking like dainty clouds floating amongst the trees.
The Crimson King Maples in the front yard are budding, as are the Apple Trees and the Silver Maples (our storm predictors) and my Sugar Maples. I will travel to the large Oak in back to check on it today. There may be some stirring of Spring there as well, by now.

After months of darkness, blizzards and high winds with snow drifts in the eight foot range, I have turned around and Spring is here. How quickly life passes. I contemplate the progression of the seasons and think how fortunate I am to have seen these wonders and how if I had not taken time to look, the unfolding of the Earth’s beauties would have passed me by.

Take time, my friends, to look and really see. This Spring will come only once in our lives. Feel your energies begin to flow as you follow the gentle nudge of Mother Nature. How blessed we are.

Shade, we don't have spring in florida =\
It goes, Lovebug season, summer, hurricane season, tourist season.

^ Several of those overlap each other too...
