ok I'm back again with another good question for you all to help me solve...

How is the surplus number at clan citadels calculated?

It is not what is in the storeroom and no two numbers add up to that amount so how does Jagex come up with it? And is it surplus over and above what has been currently collected or is that amount added into it in some way?

our citadel says this about our logs...

total: 2970
upkeep: 3510
upgrades: -5763
upgrades part paid: 5763
surplus: 5223

We have a complete t5 citadel so storeroom only carries over a max of 2000 wood.

Anyone got a idea of what this surplus number actually means?

Surplus is just the total number of resources you gain after meeting your upkeep requirements.

Example:

You need 500 timber for upkeep, but you gain 750 timber; you have 250 surplus timber.

Surplus goes towards your upgrades.

Dear Oras Shadow,

I think the numbers shown in surplus are those you have carried over from the previous week because your clan didn't collect enough to complete the build you had ordered?
