Im so upset atm. and i have to get it out. I dont wanna make a new thread about it cuz it would be a dumb thread but i just have to say it. but i just had the hardest kick i have ever done. the clan member was in my clan ever since i made the clan originally. this past month he went from crazy fun to crazy insane and annoying. he wouldnt listen to me and wouldnt listen to any of the other ranked members. he is the reason 3 clannies quit in 2 days. and more were thinking of quitting cuz of him. all my keys agreed with me and so did the only remaining founder. but not i feel so empty inside. it feels like i kicked him out of our family and it just makes me feel all wrong. but it got to the point people were actually getting afraid of him. has anyone else ever had to do this or felt this way? :(

Sure yes it is very very hard but you do sometimes have to do something that is for the overall good of the clan. But maybe, just maybe, he will come back to you later with an awareness of what he did wrong. This has happened in my experience on a few occasions. Hopefully it will settle down for you.

As clan leaders we often have to do things which may be difficult. But they are necessary sacrifices, for the good of the clan as a whole. Just know that you did the right thing for you and your clan, and there is no reason to feel bad, as it sounds as though he brought it on himself, despite warnings.

Did you try to contact him in PM? People Always react different in PM.

You made the best decision to kick him if he made people quit, that's the best thing you could do for your clan.

I had to do that the other month. some guy that's been in the clan longer than i have admitted to rwt'ing and acct sharing in my private message while screensharing with another admin. two witnesses, we dealt with it then by doing a temp demotion 2 ranks until all the admins vote on what to do. of course, we follow the procedures and ban him for a month (and his 'main acct').


he recently tried to appeal the ban; and tbh, it's hard to deny an appeal to someone that's been really the most active of the non-admins. but, it still had to be done.


(funny enough, he said we didnt trust him; yet we trusted him until the rules were broken). Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?

I'm sure most of us have had to make hard decisions at some point, even regarding long-time members or people we were close to. But the overall health of the clan is what is most important, and as leader it is your responsibility to keep the clan healthy. That doesn't make it any easier, but you will get through it :)

I talked to him in cc daily about it for over 2 weeks, I talked to him in pm, i also had a 3 way meeting in my fc with myself, a silver key, and the now ex clannie. I did everything I could to get through to him that enough was enough and he refused to listen to reason.
