7) Do you discuss clan problems with the whole clan and not only with the high ranked members?

The only clan problems that we really witness are member related. With a larger clan, this becomes more apparent, with personality clashes and disagreements, amongst many other things. Whenever there's an issue, whoever was involved is spoken to privately, away from the clan chat/chat channel on TeamSpeak, to resolve the issue. Additionally, I encourge the use of our personal clan forums on the RS site, which has a suggestions thread which is often used.

8) Have you ever had a dream about your clan?

Yes. Quite a few infact. It's been more realistic however, meeting up in real life and how things would go down at RuneFest etc, rather than imagining I'm in the game, being my character, etc..

9) Do you think your clan is the best clan in RuneScape?

Since I've not witnessed every clan in RuneScape, I can't make that call - nor do I believe that there can really be a 'best'. There may be a 'best' in an area of RuneScape, such as the Clan Wars statistics, but overall, I think trying to find out would be a little too complicated, due to it being mainly opinion-based.

10) Does your clan stop you from playing other games?

Some of the clan members play other games and I hop along with them, such as DayZ, which has become a popular one recently. At the end of the day, anyone who tells me I can't play a game that I'd like to, can quite frankly, piss off. :)

11) Would you ever join a clan again as a recruit?

I did. Without delving too much into this... I used to co-own the clan I am now owner of. I left it back in early 2012 for a lot of reasons. A couple of months later, I joined another clan, as a recruit. Within a month or so, I was given ownership of the clan due to the owner being muted for a year, which was not my intention - I joined to be a casual member. I was seen as most fit by the owner to carry the clan on, so he gave it to me and I ran the clan for 6 weeks without any admin+ since I didn't know anyone. Long story short, in mid-December, the clan I left to join, merged with the one I used to co-own, for the best of both worlds, due to both our clans deteriorating due to the release of the EoC.

12) Do you doubt on your abilities as clan leader from time to time?

No. I'm committed to my clan and my members have faith in me. I've set up the rules and the ways my clan works, almost single handedly, and I can say that if it wasn't for the structure that my clan has and the support that's provided by me as well as a lot of other members, it wouldn't be what it is today. I'm proud.

13) Do you attend all the events your clan has in a week?

I try to attend all of the 99 parties that take place, as I love to show my support for their hard work. Due to the nature of the events that's held within my clan, I can't attend every single one. There's always events happening, but I attempt to attend the 'Official Events', held by Organisers where we encourage clan masses. We have some additional events that I host at our Citadel too, which are always popular.

14) Do you always read the applications new members post before accepting them?

I certainly do and I stress to my admins+ who accept the applications to read through them as well. There have only been a few declinations in some months, due to a failsafe being a member's one week trial they undergo when they join.

15) Are you happy with your clan as it is now?

Yes. Everything that I'd like to see improve are clan system related really, such as the permissions system.

My Clan
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Tell us about your clan!

The main thing I like to point out about my clan is that it is entirely optional. I have always stood by this and always will do for as long as I own a clan.

1) What kind of events does your clan like to do?

We're PvM based, so the majority of our events are bosses such as Nex, Kalphite King and Corporeal Beast. Hopefully, we can get back into the swing of things with GWD when the 'Hard Mode' is released. (Can't wait for this!). I host a clan event every Saturday night at the Citadel, where I hold a raffle. Members have the choice to donate some cash if they'd like to aid the jackpot. Afterwards, we make use of our Clan Battlefield in the Citadel, where one of my organisers creates a PvP obstacle course or a PvP arena - recently, he's done a duel tournament using the Battlefield which was a great success too.

2) How old is your clan and how long have you been leading it?

As mentioned in my other post, it's been quite an interesting path. The clan I'm currently in was created late 2011. I was co-owner of that until around April 2012. I left for several reasons and not too long after, joined another clan as recruit - long story short, I was given ownership of that clan and then when EoC was released, I came to an agreement with the clan I'm currently owning now, to merge, to save both of our clans. My clan joined the one I used to co-own, due to it having a higher tier Citadel and better clan rankings too, but all of my rules and structures from the clan I took ownership of were brought over. We renamed the clan from Love2Hate to Incision and carried on with our lives :)

3) How does your clan handle ranking?

It's highly self-motivated. I don't believe in point systems personally, as I don't feel they show the qualities of a person, bar their committment. I understand why many clans use them though and I respect that. Up to captain, it usually relates to how long you've been in the clan for - as mentioned, we're entirely optional, so we have some members who just like to chill out while playing and have a good time skilling or on TeamSpeak. For those who'd like to be a higher rank, they work for it by doing more for the clan. Admin+ are always on the lookout for people who they feel would be good as admin/organiser and this is taken into consideration and sometimes determines who we ask to be admin/organiser as the clan grows. It's more complex than this in the system of it all, as a lot more is taken into consideration. I feel it's imperative to have approachable, likable people admin+ for the sake of all clan members.

4) Does your clan have any requirements for new members?

All of our recruitment is done via the forums. I believe that when people look for a clan, it means they've made the effort to look for one they want to join, rather than just being accepted off the streets of RS, lol.

We're relatively leanient with requirements. We look for around 175+, but we accept people who are a few levels under, as it really doesn't take long to level up nowadays.

5) Do you have many admin+ ranks in your clan?

There are currently 14 admin+.
6 Admins, 2 Organisers, 2 Co-ordinators, 2 Overseers and the co-owner. We're looking for more Organisers but their proving difficult to find at the moment.

6) Does your clan have a clan citadel?

Yes. It's Tier 5 and we're close to Tier 6, with just a few weeks remaining. We make massive use of this too, with the Saturday night events and the use of the battlefield and I cannot leave the Citadel without boogying to the Black Sabbath song rip-off on the dance floor in the Keep, lol :D

7) What updates would you like to see in the future to help run/ improve your clan?

~ Updated/improved permissions system, so I can set specific permissions to ranks if not specific members.

~ Tracking system so I can view who has been doing what, such as invites, kicks, permission changes, time spent with avatars, list is endless, lol.

~ Having the ability to be really creative with the Battlefield, allowing specific members to script their own creations and games. Doubt this would be approved but I know one member of my clan would like me to put this up here, haha.

Thanks for reading all. I told you I can blab for a lifetime!
