Over the years I've seen many black lists, but I mostly ignore them. Most if not all are filled with false reports or eventually get filled with them. And personally I wouldn't mind having former scammers on my Clan so long as they didn't scam anyone while they represented our Clan as Clan Members.

As a Clan we have seen many scammers try their luck then get booted/banned, i dont however think i would allow a previous scammer into the clan for saftey issues, i have the thought proccess of, if you find it morally acceptable to scam someone then there is a chance when times get tough that it will happen again, but this time they have experience on how not to get caught

We in particular have had scams happen for some high profile streaming players who used the Aquaruim cracker update to scam people out of money, he/she was a good member to have, but it was causing people to guest in our cc to complain, and if you create drama for the clan i prefer just to kick.

I think the best thing to do is to not allow trust trades in cc and if your members go to pm, remind them of the dangers of trust trading, that way the clans not involved and the members may think twice

Black-Lists suggestions have happened a lot here over the years. Some alliances have black-lists.

Black lists are often secretive so people can't defend themselves. They can be abused with false names. People can change.

Jagex do take scamming seriously and I've seen people be banned for scamming through trust trades. So I'd say that's the first step and most important step. If you want to you can see what clan they next join and pm the clan's leader letting them know. They may decide to keep them to see if they cause trouble and hope they've changed their ways.

Personally as a clan leader I appreciated in the past when another leader pm's me a warning about someone they managed to track down someone who'd done something really bad such as scamming in another clan. That's one of the reason as a leader I leave my pm open at all times. We have kicked in the past for ppl scamming & that's another reason I'd like Jagex to make the clan ignore list larger this year sometime, like equivalent to your accts ignore list. 100 names for a clan & larger clans is not much. I'd rather not have to add them to my personal ignore list to make sure we can add new ones on the clan ban. If we kicked they had a serious problem. We also discourage trust trading & have stopped a few ppl getting scammed but yes in the end some individuals don't listen.

A points system where you can check how many black marks have been assigned by clan owners would be fun, but i'm not suggesting it as an idea.

Zhalet, my chat is always on, I'd like to get in contact with you to find out who this person is so they don't join our clan.

I won't be back in game til tomorrow but hopefully at some point I see you on or you see me on.
