You could try contacting a few smaller PVM clans, whom have been successful, but only to such a degree that they'd be willing to merge with you. I'll try to remember some later. Don't forget background checks!!!

Sorry for what happened to your clan but why would you need a merge? Your clan is still large (450 members) and have far more active members than most clans..
Building a close-nit community is more important than having tonnes of clan total xp imo, don't stress out and just appreciate the community you have, by no means is your clan destroyed nor do really need a merge.
