A question for those of you with Tier 7 citadels and a 3rd clan avatar: What do you use it for? I ask because we are a social/skilling clan with very few pvm'ers and no pvp'ers. We reached T7 nearly a year ago, and now we're approaching the point of having a maxed Citadel -- but we have not upgraded our avatar habitat yet. We restrict one avatar to our clan's home world, and the other is restricted to the Citadel. We're not entirely sure how much benefit a 3rd avatar would be for us. Any enlightenment to offer?

Some clans are large enough to be able to have one on 3 worlds.
Perhaps a particular skilling world (such as 31: Prayer training @ houses) another skilling/general skilling world, and a F2P world. MrBrokenBow - Former Leader and Founder of

I have a mainly social / skilling clan too, not a large one, and the 3 avatars work very hard. They all have the skill bonus on them. Two have the collect resources faster in Citadel and two have the pvm heal (or is it share damage, not sure). 99.5% of the time the avatars are on bonus xp duty.

They are not restricted to worlds or locations - there is a priority order - home world and Citadel gets priority, followed by special events - close to 99, Clan Cup, etc. About 98% of active members can take an avatar out. It is rare any go missing, the home world usually has one out and there is no squabbling over avatar time. In addition the 3 avatars are all valuable as resource collectors in the Citadel.

I would say that if you can get 3 then do so - if they are not used then at least you have future proofed your clan's needs. But you may find loosening you restriction on avatar locations opens a whole new skilling opportunity.

Edit - F2P world would not be an advantage.

You should consider upgrading your habitat in case a server goes offline and your avatar warden cannot get back on. Restricting a T7 (I'm assuming a large clan here) will only make your wardens feel like they cannot contribute to the clan by utilising the avatar.

Besides, you haven't got anything else to upgrade, might as well use the surplus resources to do something with it. :) This character has been poor since his creation in June 2005.

We are skillers more than killers. First priority is home world bankskiller or events, then citadel. The 3rd is rarely used but can be taken off world as needed.

We try to have one on our home world as often as possible, and the 2nd is usually in the Citadel if people are over there capping.

I'd say it's fairly rare that all three are out (other than DXPW events for example), but if the 3rd is out in general, it's mostly just up to the warden as far as taking it to whichever other world they're on. :)
