Introduction:


It's probably been a while since we last spoke with JMods about PvP on RuneScape.

The game has evolved in both RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape since then, so I figured this deserves a thread of its own so we can talk about PvP.

- Sep 9: For the end of 2020, Jagex appears to be focusing on Quests, Bossing and Skilling. This is in large part due to "the feedback they've obtained from community engagement on what players want" ( Livestream round-up 26-08-2020 ).

OSRS News affecting PvP:


- Sep 17: On the Twitch Q&A, Mod Acorn mentioned Jagex is looking for suggestions to improve existing minigames.

- Sep 16: On the Poll 72 Updates , Jagex explained why they haven't made any changes affecting Revenant Caves since August and encouraged a discussion about Revenants .

- Sep 3: On the Gielinor Gazette: August 2020 , Jagex announced PvP and Clans updates have been pushed to 2021/2022. They also announced they plan to bring Soul Wars to OSRS and briefly mentioned they have been considering possible changes which might affect Revenant Caves and Gold Swapping. Updating the RS Wiki PvP Project:


A few PvP clans have been looking for ways to encourage people to participate in PvP in both RS3 and OSRS. One of the ways suggested to do this has been an effort to gather information about PvP from several clans and update the RS Wiki.

A few things some of us would like to update on the RS Wiki include:
- Making it easier to identify new F2P items. The Potions article, for example, could have a column added to it to sort by F2P/P2P.
- Gear being used for Multi PvP.
- Information about the EOC combat system.
- Information about the New Interfaces and Game Settings.

A few things things some of us would like to update on the OSRS Wiki:
