When I look at RS3...
We could use someone representing the PvP Community on Player Advocacy Groups.
I'm pretty amazed at all of the new items F2P has. But I don't understand why some of the best F2P items such was Warpriest items are not tradeable and can only be obtained in P2P worlds while others like the Starfury cape can't even be obtained right now by anyone that doesn't alreay have it.
To lower the cost of entry to PvP, I wish that there was a way to repair Fist of Guthix items with gp or that Fist of Guthix tokens were tradeable and I also wish that Dungeoneering items were tradeable. This would allow people to simply buy some of the best combat items for PvP without having to waste time doing Fist of Guthix or Dungeoneering.
I personally find it extremely hard to sustain damage in PvP:
- I think all shields should have damage reduction in PvP like they already have for PvM. Currently, shields can be used as a defensive weapon on EOC combat but they're useless in Legacy combat.
- Most tank armor is degradeable, non-repairable and expensive to purchase on a frequent basis due to being very rare to obtain. If the drop rate for some PvP items like corrupt dragon was dropped to say something like 1/128, the Forinthry Dungeon would most likely be as popular as the OSRS Revenant Caves encouraging PvP Clans to fight one another over domination of the Wilderness.
I also think it'd be interesting to have Castle Wars and Soul Wars in F2P.
P2P is not as appealing to me as it used to be for PvP. I think that maxed players with billions of gp worth of combat gear and untradeable gear obtained exclusively from high level PvM have a ridiculous advantage over other players. I don't know the solution to this, but perhaps if we had more PvP gear or PvP gear was easier to obtain, you could have rich PvMers with PvM combat gear fighting against experienced PKers using cheap PvP gear like we used to Pre-EOC.
