The continous doxing, ddossing and irl threats in the PvP clanning community are ridiculous, and Jagex turning a blind eye instead of investigating it isn't going to cut it if the PvP part of RuneScape were to grow.

I don't know how much metadata Jagex is capable of aggregating, but they definitely collect and store enough data to prevent reported incidents from escalating and take action if and when situations do escalate.

In RS3, I've seen a reduction in the number of people doxxing others.

In OSRS, many clans have chosen to no longer talk about some of the things which you're mentioning that happened. Most people want to move on and just enjoy the game with no more clan drama. All I can say is don't feed the trolls!

Would be nice if rs3 could revive the wilderness.

There is some action on the RS3 Wilderness. I've been to the Divination spot and you can always find single players to kill in there. I also know a few clans who roam around sometimes, but you'll mostly find the same people.

We're missing a hot spot for clans to be encouraged to go bash with one another, a place where you can make money not something like Warbands where people gain xp.

The RS3 Team should really take a good look at how the OSRS Team has made the OSRS Wilderness successful and implement similar updates.

That being said, I'd give it time. Believe it or not, I see a lot of new and returning players in RuneScape 3. There are even some OSRS players who have recently gained some interest in playing RuneScape 3.

It has become popular to spread a fallacy that all groups that are holding down a rev cave are charging attendees gp for protection. Quite a few of these groups allow any player to join in (for free) as long as they agree to help fight any intruders (anti-PK).

^Love this thread. I think the biggest divide for our community is how things spread.. For community leaders like Lively void, Furious swag, and I our inability to broadcast events to the entire Runescape community is what isolates us from the rest of the game. we pull people from our discords by spamming the announcements and most of those people already know the event is happening but last night i was just doing slayer and i got a broadcast for an aod event something i could just show up too even if i had no knowledge of the boss. Every new recruit i invite to the clan falls in love with inters because its a classic fun wholesome event people love in so much they drop over 60 million coins in f2p gear for it. I'd love to find a way to reach out to new players who haven't had an intro to pvp and show them fun and safe events like inters or a playoff so they can experience the events that made all of us love the game. :)

In today's OSRS Q&A, Mod Acorn mentioned Jagex would love suggestions about minigames.

Castle Wars is an interesting minigame you could look at because you can spend months playing it for hours and never get enough tickets to buy the gold armor for your player-owned house. 9-25 days (200-600 hours) of gameplay stuck doing Castle Wars just to get that makes the task so insane that most people don't bother doing Castle Wars. If you look at other items obtained from minigames, fighter torso can be obtained in 1 day and full void at worse would take you a week. I know there is a large pure community of people who do Castle Wars on monk robes because we fought them a few months ago in Clan Wars and then did an event in Castle Wars with them. I would drop the Defence requirement of the Red decorative armor from 5 to 1, raise the Defence requirement of the Gold decorative armor to 40, and make the Decorative Magic and Range armor F2P. This would bring some variety to the current items we use for F2P PvP. You might need to do some slight rebalancing with the bonuses since we'd like to keep Rune as the main item used on the F2P Wilderness and God Rune as the best items for F2P Clan Wars, but I could see people wearing Gold decorative armor like they wear Heraldic Rune for the FashionScape while the Decorative Magic and Range armor could be a tank alternative to the Green D'hide and Wizard/Zamorak robes people currently use for dps.

I'm not sure what Jagex plans to do for Soul Wars. I personally did Soul Wars for the xp just like Pest Control... and for that pet I never obtained. If Castle Wars became a minigame where you could make money, Soul Wars could become a minigame where you gained xp.

Troubled Brewing which was the main minigame people talked about on today's Q&A is tricky. One of my clan's administrators once tried to convince me it was a good source of xp, but it's a weird minigame most people don't understand how to play. I support the suggestion of having infinate run within the minigame since you can't wear items like Graceful. I also think it'd be interesting if Trouble Brewing was F2P. I could see PvP clans calling themselves pirates holding pirate flags. Since naval items don't have any bonuses, they could become popular among pures or for fun wars if they were tradeable. I'd personally wear the purple naval uniform when being around Furious Swag. #PurplePirates Rum is pretty useless, but if it acted like a beer and it raised your Attack while lowering your Defence I could see people using it in PvP for going into a berseker mode or have it lower your Attack and Strength but heal over time like Great gunkan. Since Rum (Trouble Brewing) can't be used after level 20 Wilderness, it's an interesting item people might use if they get teleblocked and there was some use to it. Many people mentioned adding a pet to Trouble Brewing. It'd be nice to have a parrot you could have on your shoulder like we have the Monkey cape slot item. As for the other rewards, Cooking and Crafting are both profitable afk skills and most people train Firemaking on Wintertodt. Maybe add an option to purchase Agility and Thieving xp with pieces of eight. This would allow people to play the minigame in F2P and when they become members they could spend their pieces of eight on something useful. P2P players would also play it for the xp since most people dislike training Agility and Thieving because they're so click intensive.

Rat Pits is an interesting minigame Jagex could also change slightly. I read a suggestion someone made about increasing the amount of cats you could have in your house. A lot of people like training cats and a lot of people like to gamble on Duel Arena. If the restriction of the maximum bet was lifted, I could see a whole community of people starting to train cats just to gamble with them. Since cats die, eventually people would need to quit unlike Duel Arena where most people quit once they're out of money. Most people aren't going to be training cats all day, so I wouldn't tax it like you tax Duel Arena. If a tax was later needed to be implemented, perhaps you could tax less on Rat Pits for older cats.

The Burthorpe Games Room is often empty as well. I think it'd be nice to have a competitive mode where you could stake gp against other players. Maybe expand it and add some games like poker in there. There is probably some room in there for quest related content like you did when you released Conquest.

And as for new PvP minigames, I'd really love to see something like Among Us within RuneScape. :D
