I have had this idea swishing around my mind for a long time. Which in essence could be a way to reinvigorate some aspects of the citadel, expand it's usability to a wider mass of players and also make use of various current mechanics within the game.

The idea at first was very simple, Add a combat dungeon to the citadel fill it with existing creatures but make them drop "Resource Tokens" which are essentially like unassigned resources such as with Minions from the summoning plot.

Since the initial idea has spawned in my mind I've tried to improve upon it by adding a few other ideas to it. Such as make it a Slayer dungeon, filled with basic monster rooms, and more specialised monsters can be added through clan effort in the long run.

In doing so this could potentially make the area much more interesting to long standing combat players. I will make a few more posts detailing a few of the ideas I have in the long run.

Basic Design

it would be a dungeon similar in style to Taverly. But with Rooms for each level of combat/slayer, and each room would use pre-existing assets to be built. To make it slightly quicker on construction time.

For example a Chicken, Cow and Goblin room for low level combat players.

Medium Level room being something containing Chromatic Dragons, skeletons, druids, basilisks etc

High Level rooms containing Abyssal Demons, Metal dragons, etc etc

They'd maintain normal drop tables but would also have the chance to drop resources.

There should also be a Slayer master based in there that only assigns monsters within that dungeon.

And a Grand Tier Room should be built where the Avatar of Certain Boss monsters can be summoned by the Clan, that can drop a special sigil which the clan itself can then display proudly in their Clan Citadel.

But the main feature of why this particular room would be essential is that it can be a useful aid for Clan leaders and members to teach new players and friends how to tackle bosses and their specific mechanics.

Enabling more clans to take part in bosses that can use groups.

I like the idea but I think it is going to be a huge project for Jagex so not sure if they got the resources to do this.

Your Grand Tier room is very simular to my recent idea on CLF ( Clan Battlefield Bosses )

I think with this idea i tried to make it as much about using existing assets as possible to reduce development time as much as possible. But i can see why it'd be something they probably wouldn't even consider due to the costs and time involved
