One way to protect against hacks would be to have 50%+ 1 of admin+ ranks to agree to it.

So if one admin+ gets hacked, there is less danger, hoverer such a thing would only be good for current members, maybe 3 months in the clan as if someone joins and instantly spams it would be a disadvantage.

Or just keep it to clan leaders.

Not really a fan of personalised/custom settings for clans as it doesn't seem really possible, as opposed to standard and non-subjective ones.

One similar suggestion was an automatic rank-up system, based on subjective/customised defined criteria.

There are lots of different and endlessly variant criteria (especially things that cannot be automatically tracked) for so many clans on which things are based on (i.e. ranking up, mass kicking, etc), and as a result it is not something that could be done in reality.

It's best to do monthly (or weekly, depending on how big your clan is) checks to kick people, and not allow the names to accumulate.

What I do usually is compile a list at the end of the month that is agreed on by all Admin+. Each one proceeds to kick two people they've chosen until they've all hit their kick limit for the day, and I (as owner, with unlimited kicking) proceed to kick the remaining names (if any) in the end.

It's much better to divide the work that way, and more easily managed, especially with frequent checks.

It's definitely intentional that you cannot blitz your whole clan with a single button or click, and rather have to go with it on a member-by-member (and a confirmation for each) basis. Subzero has pointed this out well, and one of the main purposes and intentions behind this system is to put the thought into every person (and treat every person as an individual and separately according to their case), especially with the confirmation for each, rather than a mass kick based on objective numbers and data. You recruit on a member-by-member (and not mass) basis, so the opposite is exactly the same.

I am very much in favour of UI/UX improvements to the current clan interface. They are simply awful from a UX point of view. Having to repeat the same actions over and over again for very simply tasks is time-consuming not to mention tedious as hell...

I do not understand why several of you keep bringing up the kick limitation. Either you misunderstood the original post, or you did not read it and instead assumed what it said based on the title.

Some people have claimed that the inconvenience of this interface is a security feature, it is not. Please stop saying it is.

I disagree that the proposed feature is the ideal solution. A better solution would be to significantly improve the current interfaces.

* bring the clan interfaces in line with the de facto standard of NIS;

* one player per row instead of the current two players per row;

* all adjustable information visible immediately without having to expand another view;

* an additional check mark per row to mark people as "to be kicked";

* a single kick button that attempts to kick all clan members who have been marked as such;

* a single save button that attempts to apply all rank, job and ban changes;

Exactly as the original poster suggested, an additional confirmation view should be added in conjunction with the changes I have suggested. This way we would have a simple overview of all the changes that are about to happen, so we can filter out any potential mistakes before we apply them all in one go.

Could we leave out the petty remarks of how or why we kick our members? It is unnecessary.

1 kick about the same amount of inactive players each month i post names on a kicking thread in clan forums a month before i kick.

Runeclan tells me who is active in each given month .

It would be fantastic if runemetrics had more clan based functions but not many of you seem bothered .

hopefully rune clan will add more functions (tools comming soon) tabs been ages lol.
