The technical details of it is something best discussed with Mod Maz, but she is busy with Old School releases atm - however the nature of how complicated these things can be is that our code cannot assume that certain types of data or pieces of information are present when you as a player might expect them to be, and that the nature of a browser based game is that we have to be very very careful in what data we consider to be present and how secure that data is in validity.

E2A: If we could make a cleaner solution we would have wanted to make that, and Mod Moltare and Mod Maz looked at multiple solutions to provide for the system before settling on the change we made.

Youve sidetracked the conversation into data and statistics.

This isnt a conversation about data or about statistics its about ins and outs of the current cool down system, what i have said doesnt change anything it simply looks at how the current system and the old system is same in terms of the citadel & how the restriction for citadel capping for new players couldve been handled instead

As for the technical side of it theres no need for explanation, I already know the system already proves it can determine who has and who hasnt previously been in a clan.

As I said earlier, what you think you know about what the system already knows and what it does actually know are often two very different things. :)

But we are both off topic for this thread which was about why the cooldown was removed from DarkScape and not main game. We've answered that post and so I'll lock this thread now.
