If you didn't see the dev Q&A it was hinted by myself and Mod Osborne that you can expect some Clan stuff in April.
This is the long awaited Clan QoL #2 update, in my opinion this tops QoL #1 in terms of updates to significant clan functions and I hope you enjoy it.
As a reminder, this is what you can expect.
- A special broadcast will now fire to your clan if you've been a member for 3/6/9 months or in the run up to the year on the day of your join date when you next login
- The Clan Info interface has had a refresh bringing it up to NiS/Mobile standards
- The Clan creation date has been added to the Clan Info interface
- "Discord" has been added to Clan Keywords
- "Invention" has been added to Clan Keywords
- "RuneScape 2007" has now been renamed to "Old School RuneScape" in Clan Keywords
- The Vexillum option has been removed from the Noticeboard edit interface
- When viewing a clan's noticeboard the title will now say the name of the Clan
- Entries in the "place" dropdown now default to 'Abandoned mine' so the Clan Noticeboard can now alphabetise the list
- The clan event reminder notifications have been updated to include more information about the upcoming event
- An event notification message will now fire when an event has been running for 30 minutes
- You can now view the job title of a clan member by hovering over their rank icon in Clan Chat
- Clan Log has now been updated to show you last weeks visitor and capped count (Note: For last weeks capped count your Citadel has to have rebuilt since this update)
- Clans can now set a total level requirement for joining their clan in clan settings, if a player is trying to be invited that doesn't match the clan's requirement they will not be able to join (If an owner invites a player, it will bypass this check)
Clan Guest chat has received the following updates:
- You now have the ability to view the information of the clan you're guesting in by clicking the I button
- Additionally you can now view that clan's noticeboard and see what events they have coming up!
- Clan staff can now set up a 'Guest Clan PIN' this will stop any guests from entering the clan if they don't know the PIN, if that PIN is changed, any guests reconnecting to your clan chat will be kicked out and will have to enter the right PIN once more
- When guesting in a clan chat you will now recieve event notifications from that clan allowing you to be notified when events from them are starting ( Note this image says the guested clan's event is mandatory, I've already fixed that )!
- Clans can now set a total level requirement for guests to join their clan chat in Clan Settings, this is to stop new accounts being made to flame clan chats.
