Hugs Krisi,

Thank you for sharing your story, and I hope all goes well with your mum's surgeries and treatment, and in hers and your continuing strength, and support of each other. I admire you're persistence in promoting THINK PINK month.

I approached THINK PINK month with my clan today, and thought we'd make a THINK PINK awareness event. The more I talked about it with my clanmates, the more I felt it an idea to have other clan's involved, but first I thought the best thing would be to firstly ask if you were interested in supporting the event , or if you'd prefer something different.

It is okay to say no, or say you'd prefer for such an event not to occur, but I thought I'd see what you thought first since you posted this thread, and also I'm not certain if we need to seek Jagex permission first also for an interclan related event that promotes an in real life and not a game theme.

I posted here so Jagex may see this and perhaps support the event, or let us know if it is not something we should be promoting in the game aside from maybe wearing pink when we skill together.

Event idea - THINK PINK cancer awareness event.

Held - Perhaps on weekend, ? Saturday, Game time.

The idea is a conga line with everyone dressed in pink starting from Lumbridge to Burthorpe to collect people on the way and inviting many clans to make a huge impression for awareness and at the same time having some fun along the way, ending with community bank skilling or party box or something like that in Burthorpe.

All clans who'd like to participate meet in Lumbridge, starting at a set time we walk in a conga line to Burthorpe bank passing through Draynor, Varrock, a circle around Grand Exchange, then on to Falador, ending in Burthorpe bank.

Continues

Everyone can be dressed in Pink either by changing clothes, or dressing up.
Pink skirts are available from Thessalia's boutique.
Pink capes are available in Team-10 Cape in level 15 wildy. They're not completely pink. Level 15 is a seller who sells pink capes, and there's also one in deep wildy. For those who chose not to go into the wildy, Richard is located just inside the wildy fence in Edgeville and sells Team-6 pink capes.
Gnome clothes shop in grand tree I believe also has pink clothing.
Full H.A.M. is pink and easy to get also, and includes everything in pink.
People can change their hair if they choose in Falador or their clothing, or come as they are if they'd prefer not to dress up.
The important thing is making an event that raises awareness of Think Pink month.
Perhaps you have a better idea, or would prefer not to do this. Please let me know what you think, and I look forward to see if there's a response from Jagex to ensure this is okay to do as an event.

My thoughts are with you and your mum, and I hope all goes well.
All the best.
Hugs
Cherish

And I think we'll not go off the topic again.

Zyphix
- you were warned last year concerning the Pink Think thread. Please do not go there again.

Warned? Not to my recollection. I recall a debate, but that's all, and after a while and some of their posts of intent later, I concluded no further personal problem with their purpose in-game or per their reasons for activity. IE: I don't have any issue with anything here.

"Changing clan colours for a united cause is only one purpose of this thread. I'm guessing you know that, and you were just answering Maz' question, right? ... right? "

Well, yeah, that's why the quote and such. I even said it wasn't directly relevant, and even made viewing my input as optional. I already said I have no problem with this thread. I wouldn't post in here at all now, if only to answer questions that are being asked toward me, including this post.

Jeez, let it go.

Just a suggestion for the males in clans.... as not all of them will enjoy wearing pink

How about purple for the males if they are really against the pink

It's not about the colours, it's about the cause.

Hi Krisi, I know some of my clanmates have been wearing pink in support and have been telling others who ask about it. :)
