Changing your motif is usually a matter of personal choice between you and your own clan members, not typically owner to owner. I've known alot of players to leave clans just because the motif has changed. People enjoy themselves some consistency and comfortable habits. I suppose I mean to say the clan motif is more 'clan interpersonal' than 'clan extrapersonal'; affected clan members, I would hope, were included in such decisions where applicable. It's like jumping on somebody else's bandwagon by request, thereby abandoning your own. Almost like selling/shilling out. Other than *special circumstances* like this one, when would one find anyone doing that, and for what purpose? It's just out of place and a rare situation. Clan to clan related... extremely loosely. Outside this particular situation, pretty moot.

This is temporary and the example itself isn't even the exact definition or directly addressing the situation which we're discussing, but a generalized thought. Just an example, albeit a poor one. Not great at being elaborate when I'm tired. Nothing against the topic, just feeding your curiosity with an answer with a possible perspective to consider since you asked.
