Just a shout out and thanks to Mod Shauny for standing firm in the face of yet another attempt to prune the Clans forums as part of a forum reorganisation!

I saw the forums were reorganized, along with forum closure threads posted in several sections. What's the context here for clan forums? I hadn't seen anything about that until this thread.

From past experience when I was an FMod, I know that EVERY time someone has the bright idea to reorganise the forums, the first place they look is at clans - because non-clan people always seem to think we have "too many" forums.

Even as it is, the Clan Warring forum is being nuked....

It was inevitable though, as there's not really much of a warring scene left anymore so the forum wasn't being used. It's sad, as to me warring was the best part of the game. It just didn't receive any love from Jagex (just like the other forms of PvP and minigames), so it was doomed to die out.

Ah, makes sense. I'm glad that the clan forums have been untouched through this reorganization. As for the Clan Warring forum, anyone can see that the whole section hasn't been used actively in well over a year. Even the stickied threads haven't had a new post since early 2017. ~ Sicariu
