It is still the lowest rank to talk permission... but with the addition of a temporary mute (if i can get the engine work). This allows you to mute just the one off trouble maker.

That would be brilliant sometimes its easier to stop a fight by muting someone till they calm down. its like the internet option of cold water
Are there any mechanical changes you'd like to the rank based permission system?
Your rank permissions image shows settings for the clan chat to ban guests? I thought it was mainly about kicking guests and they get a temporary ban (not perm). "Ban guests" permission makes it sound as if those ranks can add guests to the ban list or that they automatically are added there upon a kick.
Could be useful but might be a bit too harsh in some cases and our banlists don't have infinite space for names I think.
The banning guests rank permission has already been requested by J4ron
That isn't what I tried to request
According to the image you made a change in wording of the existing permission to
kick
guests which may cause confusion.

Ahh, I see. don't worry too much about the text on the mockups, most of it is just placeholder. After all.. wouldn't you be worried if we were going to change all your displaynames to ClanmateX?
Hmm... now there's an idea!

Am I correct in my assumption that all rank permissions will be set to blank until I change them? Like in the case of the introduction of the Clan Announcements, where only I could make announcements until I added the permission to our Admin - Deputy Owner ranks?

Thank you Mod Maz and the Squirrel army,
This looks great to me.

If you mean the NEW permissions, then yes they will be set to owner & deputy only, until they are handed out by said ranks.
I have no intention of clearing any existing permission sets unless absolutely necessary, as I'm fully aware we still have problems with inactive leaders in clans.
