Recruited 2 new members today to my clan. Both left their clan 10 days ago. One of them I left at a recruit rank. The other I gave admin. rank too. The recruit got the usual message about having to wait 7 days to cap but the other that I made admin. was able to cap right away. Is this supposed to happen, shouldn't they both have to wait 7 days to cap?

If you left a clan more than 7 days ago, you shouldn't need to wait to cap. Sounds like the one who cant cap was in a clan within those 7 days, and not the 10 like they say.

Years ago I had the same problem with a friend who had left his clan, quit for a long time, and returned. He came back to the game and joined my clan, but was still on probation. This leads me to think that you need to actually LOG ON for 7 days for the counter to go down. If that's still the case, I believe the guy in your clan who can't cap now hasn't logged on every day for at least 7 days since he left his old clan. Dedicated Feline Enthusiast

I could maybe see that^, we've had several people leave a clan and have 7 or more days between yet will still be on cooldown that starts when they joined us. It's not consistent at all which is frustrating too lol. One person will have just left a clan and be good, other will have not been in a clan for months and still has cooldown.

It's definitely not a consistent 7 days after leaving, maybe it's the 7 days online or something odd. I'm in no condition to post. Wait a minute - I don't have to listen to myself! I'm drunk

Thanks for the replies. I did confirm they both left their previous clan on the same day 11 days ago via runeclan. I'm going to go with the 7 days logging into game for now. Checking their adventurer's log, the one that could cap has 10-11 days of gameplay after leaving her clan while the one that couldn't cap has logged into game about 4 days.

Check runeclan website to see when they joined the clan as that will give you a rough idea when they can cap next, wish you luck :)

The one i gave admin. rank too was a long time member of my clan that left on good terms. She joined the other clan when she came back to runescape because that's the clan her husband belonged too and it didn't work out for her. She was an overseer when she first left my clan and is an older adult that is very trust worthy. The recruit is her daughter. The way our ranking system goes is after 4 weeks in the clan, everybody gets admin. with ava warden. I started this ranking system over 2 years ago and its worked out great.
