The only problem I've ever known with setting up an actual "Clan Bank" are basic security risks (say an admin were hacked - poof! there goes your entire clan's stuff!), or the amount of dedication it would take to actually program such a system. Clan:

Kirstunael got clan bank.
One special account, we used as banker since start. We got there some money we spend for bigger events. The account is not shared, only one player got acess.

Few issues with it, like: banker being half-quited. It's been long time... We got each other added at Facebook and Skype and my family members met banker irl too, so, we keep touch and chat in game too as rarely as it happens.

I've been thinking of it but doesn't want to make acc shared or second, third bankers.

Next, banker account is not p2p and most items nowadays are degradable anyways.
Lending isn't so easy like that. So we mostly keep the money clannys donated.
