t7 Citadels' Wasted Resources

I'd like that be a future focus very very soon.

Those with maxed citadels obviously don't make up all clans, but there is still a lot of us.

It's kind of the end of the citadel, the fun capping gatherings, because there's nothing left to strive for, no need for the resources, the xp rates alone aren't worth it.

& don't get me wrong, I MUCH prefer not having to cap, but there is a still a loss from the fun that we had at the citadel on the way to max.

This probably sounds like a complaint but it isn't meant to.


What I'm thinking, if indeed there is no possibility of a future plan to go to T10 citadels, is something like consumables.

I haven't thought in depth about possibilities, but for example 1 idea might be that when you complete this new 'consumable or renewable structure', perhaps your clan name gets super imposed over the ground of the ge for 1 hour or something like that.

It may be a dumb idea or not feasible, but it's just the first one to come to mind.


It would be nice to have something to strive for again, even if it was optional.

The new upkeep nembers for T7 clans is a big joke. I have collected resources for many years becasue it was needed to keep the clan in T7. I used to look at the Citadel as a clan trophy, but now its more like a house for lazy dorks. Its many good suggestions from other and this post like adding more skill plots. Why can't that be done?

The citadel is a lot of squares I guess so the time it would take to add new plots would be enormous. It would be easier to start over with a surface world rework of citadel, which not everyone agrees with. Tbh if the old common ideas "more plots" etc don't work, it would be beneficial to get more ideas and discussion rolling so maybe something that can work would be brought up.

One idea I've tossed around in my mind is extra resources go into a clan shop or something that members could buy cosmetic clan armor or something. It's not a fully thought out idea, it might not even be possible, but could open back up the trophy feeling of a t7 citadel and clannies can show that off throughout the surface world as they walk around.

I do think the group team work collecting together for a cause needs brought back some how, not just stops at a maxed out citadel that is super easy to upkeep. /\

Support but my suggestion would to allow the extra resources somehow be split up for exp / bxp to give to your clan members

my clan is at tier 6, now working on tier 7 and then dragon and whatever is left for cosmetics but even thats not much to work on so ya we need to be able to use the extra resources on something for everyone

We had T7 citadel around 7 years now. It's demotivating that we can't build anything with the leftover resource.

I understand it is a lot of work to add T8... T9... so on but how hard it can be to add something decorative? My people would be so inspired and ready to do something fun, even if it's totally useless!

The decorations, like sculptures, are all old, we can't build the statue for a boss like Solak, raids bosses, anything new really. There's no Gw2 or Telos or not even Kalphite King!

I want to do a beach party and swim at the avatars pool (:
I want to build a football field to the empty skillspot
I want autumn, winter and spring theme to the citadel

I want some special override or costume to the people who capped for years

If anything of it is possible... would be wonderful to invest all leftover capping into it and bring some fun vibe to the clans home.
