With so many pets now, it's getting hard to get Wardens who take the avatars out because they prefer the pet they just got, and you can't blame them really .....

can something be done to help sort this out, maybe have the avatar changed to a "Clan Ring / Halo" worn on other hand. or maybe even the option to take out the avatar or "borrow" it's ring or halo , I wouldn't like to get rid of the avatars as some still like them

anyways, its food for thought, seems a little unfair that your barred from having your pet if you want the Avatar bonus ¸.•´¸.`•.¸¸.• MoonShadow `•.¸¸.•¸.•´¸.`

I can, you have an issue if they're choosing to use a useless pet over taking the ava out and helping the clan.

That doesn't alter the fact that there are so many pets being introduced, it isn't really fair to make people choose what they have out ... fine the Avatars are useful if you want to advertise your clan a little more, there really is no need for it to be a follower though to give off the bonus, anything can be set for doing that, I'm just saying it's not fair to make people choose between the two

Edit: even if you could override the avatar with your chosen pet would be good ¸.•´¸.`•.¸¸.• MoonShadow `•.¸¸.•¸.•´¸.`

It is technically possible to have two followers at once - the code was developed for the Chosen Commander quest a while back, and is also implemented in Temple Trekking, I believe.

I assume it's not more widely used because it would cause horrible, horrible lag.

A pet is meant to be a cosmetic; an avatar is actually functional.
