Sorry trying to lighten the mood, it is still disappointing about clan work rarely getting done.


I know it won't dissuade anyone at Jagex from their plans but such discourse is rather fun. =D

I understand Maz isn't exclusive to clan content. I'm not trying to say she should be. However as I recall the ninja team or some other team thought about doing some clan stuff and took one look at the code and said "yea no...".

I'd be more inclined to be patient but if you look at the past 9 months, what have we gotten that actually helps us run our clans or is something some of our members could enjoy? We had the probation rework which nobody asked for or wanted, but they had their reasons for it and that's fine. There was also the Clan Camp rework which we didn't ask for and I still don't know how I feel about that one.
What about useful things we are actually asking for? You have things like the clan mute, which is a mechanic we had before the original clan update in the form of kicking from the chat temporarily, stuck between development and QA, and Clan Cloak override stuck in backlog.

At this point they may as well not even bother putting up a Clan Plan 2016 next year because for all we can tell Mod Maz is the only developer who gives a damn and we can't expect her to do it all in her spare time. There is also QA we have to worry about as well.

I think we have a right to express our displeasure. It's not like we are organizing a riot in Fally yet.
