If the option to add notes isn't possible, even if only viewable by keys, then another option could be to show the name of the clan member who added them to the list.

We have quite a few people on our ban list who I have no idea why they are there - if I knew who added them and when, it would help me decide if they should stay on the list or not.

I agree that the Ban list could use some improvements, but this feels like it's so low-priority that the development time will never be found for it. Most of these issues should be insignificant anyhow.

In 5+ years of Incursione we haven't filled our banlist. I tend to remove old entries because there's just no point keeping them there.

All clans face different issues from different people and for different reasons. Just because something isn't affecting you doesn't mean it isn't an issue for other people. I've seen cases where clans have had to max out their entire ban lists because 1-2 trolls with alt accounts. For example, our clan was never affected by the admin impersonation scams, but we knew it was an issue and fully supported the font tweak that mostly fixed it.

I'm aware; different scenarios for different clans, but 100 accounts actively harassing your clan is excessive.

I'm not rejecting the idea, I'm merely taking a sceptical perspective in terms of dev time. Clans receive a tiny amount of time and if we spend our time pushing for ideas which ultimately waste it then it's our loss.

In extreme circumstances where the regular banning, reporting, and ignorance tools fail you should escalate the issue as serious harassment via the Flag A Concern thread.

I.E. if there's 1-2 trolls harassing you with 100s of accounts I would contact Jagex staff here; that's exactly what the thread is for.

You do have the tools to mitigate this by blocking Guests; so you're hardly "desperate" for solutions even in the worst circumstance. Now that has the obvious downsides but it at least removes the need for urgency whilst Jagex Staff intervene.

Again, I'm not against the idea; but someone needs to play the devil's advocate: The issue affects such a small number of clans, eats into the limited development time we receive, and can be handled in other ways.

It's worth noting that a Typeface change is extremely simple to implement; yet even that one took a lil' while.

Subzero...... Many clans use Guesting EXTENSIVELY. Not only for people looking for a new clan (many people will not join a clan they cannot check out themselves, first), but also for people who love the community, but have loyalties/ties to the clan they're currently in. "Blocking Guests" is the worst bandaid to a problem I have ever seen.

Instead of telling us about "development time" maybe get Jagex to spend more time where it is needed.
