The one change I really do want to see to capping, which should not upset any individual player, is a way of tracking caps, at least for the current and the previous week both on the RS website and through a web API.
Unfortunately they've said there's no better way than currently as is, due to the data being tied to the character, and therefore inaccessible unless you're on the same world.
I believe that response was back when we were discussing minor updates, not a major re-work. As a major overhaul is on the table then I believe the time is right to consider it again.
I'm still unsure that they could do it, because I believe it's an issue with the RS Engine. I'm no Dev/Coder though, so it could be doable. Who knows..
