Fealty does not return to 0 if you leave a clan and join another:

This isn't a bug and is intentional, the reason being that we don't want to punish a loyal clan member regardless of what clan they were in. To build up a fealty rank shows dedication to the citadel - if anything it's a very positive thing when someone you recruit has a 3 star fealty rank.

I understand that someone can hold on to a "fake" fealty rank by obtaining it and not going back to the citadel but I feel that the positives that system has outweighs any negatives. There are ways to check to see if members are going to the citadel through checking their resources gathered whereas punishing players for missing a week here and there wasn't the aim.

This is an already known bug and is due to the local time on a computer not being uk time. Unfortunately it's not one I've got round to fixing yet, for which, my apologies.

Depends if your clan is set to use it's own time offset or not as to what date is displayed. Check your clan offset time wise before sending a bug report. But.. as was stated, if it is something you can replicate, send in a bug report.

The Vexillum gets covered by Solomon's overrides:

Hey guys,

So the issue here is that the vexillum is classed as a longsword in our code so any overrides for longswords will cover this.

The question is: would you like me to remove it from the list of overrides so it will always show?

I'll leave that as an open question for a few days to allow as many people as possible to respond and see what the majority would like.

Cheers

Allow us to make any rank an avatar warden:

Currently the engine only supports admin+ being able to write to clan data.

Therefore an avatar warden must be admin+ as it needs to store it's data somewhere on the clan.

With this restriction in place, it doesn't matter how much code I produce, I can't remove that caveat.

Changing to a checkbox rather than a rank may well be a possibility in the future (though I can't guarantee that as I haven't looked at that code for a while).

Allow us to stop the avatar from following its warden - i.e 'planting' the avatar:

I Skin I
It would be nice to plant 'em and forget about 'em. But since the ava acts like a summoning familiar, I think it would take a considerable amount of time to mess with the mechanics of that.

Also, I guess there's an argument that if we just plant the ava for the 3% bonus and leave it there..then that would kind of belittle the concept of what the ava should be used for.

--------------------

Couldn't have put it better myself, "I Skin I", other than adding some detail. The avatar needs the player in range to be able to access data on them and get data from the clan. If that player goes off to their house for instance or maybe a dungeon or simply too far away, that connection is lost and the avatar can no longer function. It's very similar to summoning familiars - so that was a good comparison.

Hope that makes sense,
