While you wait for a mod response, which may or may not happen, what's the context?

This is the Clan Leaders Forum, so this forum is dedicated to clan-related stuff and less so other matters, but our collective knowledge on botting and reporting bots might suffice for your situation, depending on the reason behind your request.

Here's what I've gathered about bot reports, from my time reading the RSOF:
- Bots might not be immediately banned, because Jagex wants to investigate such leads and as such, better understand how to detect them and who the puppetmasters are.
- Can't report bots on forums, either
- You can disrupt some bots by using a vex on them
- You can kill and loot green dragon bots in the Wilderness
- You can tag slayer monsters and let combat bots do the brunt of the work (depending on the monster, sometimes tagging means attacking the monster first, other times it means dealing the finishing blow)

Zori
has created a thread in the CLF titled How to detect bots in clan , which might also pertain to your situation.

Any mod needs to ref me to a page with a mod who is assigned the role on this topic. Thanks

This isn't really an issue for the CLF, even if you suspect your Clan Members of Botting.

The best course of action you can take is through the in-game Report system so Player Support can investigate and take action against those they confirm are botting.

At one point, I remember there was a Jmod who was investigating claims of suspected bots through Twitter, but I can't remember who that was or if that's still possible.

Ummm i think theyve not been active on twitter since the whole incident happened with them banning people who were not botting last year.

There is not direct access available to the ICU team for what I would hope are obvious reasons - what's the issue?

These days bot offences are banned with 100% certainty.

Jagex do not share how they detect,

although they're 100% certain.
I uhh I honestly can't tell if that's sarcasm or not... :P

But my faith in Jagex customer support is not unwavering. This conversation is why:

https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/2pse6m/recent_bot_discussions_mod_kelvin/cmzkpu6

Notice how the same person was wrongly banned *twice*

I think it's fair if accounts are wrongly banned, since the system that happens to ban innocent accounts is otherwise very efficient and accurate, but that any mistakes be immediately acknowledged and rectified. However, the CS team hasn't valued that enough to the point that they've allocated enough valuable staff hours toward doing this.

If you have bot issues in the clan, then I suggest informing your clannies so that they aren't actioned as accomplices when they're actually innocent, or maybe even for being on the botter's friends list. Hopefully MattHe can help with your situation, but this thread was created last week and I haven't seen you post since so0o0o0oo yeah I hope your situation's somewhat resolved already?
