Kirstunael clan was created 20. July 2006, it's time to celebrate anniversary again (:

We started as a little pk group at old wildy and soon some guys wanted us to be official clan with offsite forums, also we used first beta versions of Skype for voice communications but pk fun ended soon, wildy was closed. A lot clans died out and so many asked from us too, did we close the doors? We said nope and went to kill Dagannoth Kings, Kalphite Queen and soon Godwars was released.

Looking back to clan history I can say that first time Kirstunael became strong and popular was when we became great at Bandos with regular and successful trips there, next we got recognized because of our clan culture, well working events and strong leadership, in this time we started skilling events and minigames, Kirstunael rocked at Stealing Creations.

We started citadel in it's release day, soon maxed it, citadel has been beautifully up for years.

Next we had to adapt big updates, EoC came, it was great challenge to survive it and stay together - many clans died but we passed it without major loss. Soon many Kirstunael members shined at Warbands and some are still famous and active. When raids came out we adapted it very well, I can happily say that our team got quality members from the clan and outside, some are legendary at raids or RS pvm legends and we host full raid everyday.

Kirstunael skillweeks have been running for 6 years now, it has been our longest lasting event/activity

Meanwhile we did a lot other things too, went to new bosses, scored at minigames, some got wealthy, got maxed and some completionists and trimmed completionists but this kind achivements were less or more personal.

It has been long and fun journey and is is still lasting, even half of the clan founders are still around (:

Congratulations to you all!

I think you've shown why you survived when so many other clans went under: as the game changed, you changed. As old content vanished, you found other things to do. As new content was introduced, you engaged with it. As the game moved on, you moved on with it, instead of digging in your heels and being left behind.

Best wishes for another 10 years, and I'm sure you'll still be around then if the game is. And if it's not, there's a decent chance you'll be a clan in some other game. :D

You guys are legit. It takes a motivated community to persist through all the changes you guys did, which only means that you held on to what didn't change--each other's company :)

Congrats on 10 years!!!!!!

P.S. Do you happen to know Winter Faery? :O One of my friends who has the "Stan-ning" around rest animation, which looks like semaphore lol

The game has been tricky but it's also fun.

What I found most amazing in game it is the people. Monsters can be as strong as they are but there's nothing so playful, creative and deep as the human's nature.

No I don't know Winter Faery. But never know how we can meet (:
