Nothing like a triple post, I have asked for this thread to be closed, I really just cant be bothered with the drama that gets created every year.

This is a forum which is meant to have runescape leaders, a place where we are meant to come and communicate share idea's, clan thoughts, issues faced, celebrations on success and reviews on how we can do better or how others do it.

For three years I posted this as like many clans we lost a loved one to someone battling cancer, and people like to troll and then justify their trolls with further ones, and it just goes on and on, smart underlying remarks, behaviors and such that kills the CLF.

I am sure that many of you will come on now and post more random crap, but at some point I wonder if half the reason people dont want to be in clans is because of the toxicity that is displayed by our very own leaders.

Yes this is my rant, the thread has been completely yet again destroyed for another year.

For all the people who just came on and got involved in changing to pink I thankyou. to the people who work tirelessly like Cherish who work with cancer patients my respect to you. I will see you at the march.

Ive seen no toxicity or trolling, just people posting their opinions on a topic, whats the point in raising awareness if people are then ridiculed for discussing it?

Krisi,

You do realize that just wearing pink is not the central purpose of October's cancer awareness, right? It's about cancer awareness. You do that by wearing pink, encouraging, and engaging in discussion about cancer.

You can actually take the wearing pink out altogether. It exists only to facilitate discussion and spread cancer awareness. If just one person gets a check up because of this, they could stop any potential cancer at a very early stage, thereby increasing their chances of going into remission or removing it altogether.

I'm as disturbed by your post as you are of our discussion. If we're going to do this, let's do it right.

Fire Hawk154,

I believe you are right in your last post clarifying what you meant, in that risks can mostly just be reduced and treated, not removed entirely.

In earlier posts you might be thinking of something like various skin cancers as oppose to prostate or colon cancer. Skin cancers can often be discovered and removed, whereas prostate or colon cancer, for example, are not as easily removed or discovered in most cases.

I'm definitely understating skin cancer though, all types of cancer should be taken seriously and steps should be taken to reduce risk of getting said cancer where possible.
"Why are you posting threads, asking questions and making discussion???"
