About the bossing part (most kills).
We could use the screenshots!
however They will need to make their adventure logs accessible by us. This way we can double check.
I wouldn't make the bossing cup a long period though. More like 2 days/boss as retrieving longer data might require harder effort

Should ask which clans actually want to fight in RCW. Almost every warring clan prefers Purple Portal, for a reason. The RCW map is shit. We could barely enjoy last JCups because of it, as it doesn't matter whether you win or lose in RCW as nobody uses the map outside of the JCup anyway. If it's about which clan is the best, Purple Portal Classic map center bounds for Knock-Out and Turrets for KC are far more representative. They both offer the advantage of having spectators. Last year we had to wait outside of the portal asking everyone who died what the score was. If it's going to be player run we should have a vote.

agreed that purple portal is more user friendly the only problem is that non clannies can join as well. I will add the suggestions anyway.

Just let clan leaders post their memberlists before the tournament. I always thought it was weird some of my members couldn't fight while being in our clan for 5+ years (but not in cc), while someone who's has nearly zero affiliation with a clan can fight as long as they've been invited to the clan chat. With the low number of pvp clans in RS3 it's not that difficult to find out who's actually a member of the clan and who's just been invited purely for the JCup. The only annoying thing is the namechange system. I hope we can one day see a proper name change history, as now you only need membership and a bond to make your account completely anonymous. Oh, and ban titles. You can barely read the names these days.

well I appriciate non clannies helping events and stuff. But It is and remain clan cups so they have to be official member in your clan.

Either they should join your clan, or participate with their clan in it.
I see lots of conflicts happening with "strangers" joining battles.

My clan got basically 5 permanent guests (compareble to your buddies i guess) you and I know the relationship between them. But no one else can.
Some of us can simply call up some friends and gain an unfair advantage.

And yes clan hoppers will also happen but that amount will be definitely lower

- Skilling

Not sure what the best way is to do. But I think that most xp/day will be too easy to cheat with TH/lamps etc. And people getting an unfair advantage.

So my idea is too gather stuff. U team up with 5 people every week for 1 skill at a skilling location. The clans give the team names on forum. The clan who gather's the most objects wins.

For example woodcutting cup:
To gather the most Magic logs below seers at the place with 4 magic logs.

Someone in charge of cup will be at the start location to check players inventory's, downside is that that person needs to stay there so people will not cheat. If someone of the players leave the area or log out longer as 10 seconds. That person's total does not count for the total/clan.

- Downside is that the person in charge has to stay an hour there.

Not a bad idea but this is very resource intensive (for the observer), and is still subject to cheating. The idea of focusing on the items rather than the XP is actually a pretty novel idea though!

The PvM cups are also subject to cheating, video/screenshot proof can be manipulated (I would like to think people wouldn't stoop this low, but if decent rewards were on offer... )

Maybe 1v1 style bosses would be interesting, like how 2 players can compete for a drop at nex. There are issues with this method too but perhaps we have to accept nothing will be perfect without the resources.

I would think that 1v1 PVMing would be more subject to cheating due to rigging etc. I honestly would rather the videos/screenshots over that, because assuming they're reviewed by some sort of panel, the chances of a good edit making it through aren't as good and easier to call the people out on it, rather than just being like "you were obviously throwing" without having any proof.

You can (and should) still control for clan hoppers by setting a rule stating that any members that are added to the Clan during the Cup aren't eligible players and if used the Clan is subject to disqualification.

As far as titles go, I agree they should be removed. Other things to consider for this are name changes (I know a lot of people changed their name to IIiiIIiiI, etc.) and whether or not we should allow that.

We have a different vision on what a clan member is. A member, as I see it, is a human being. I count them as 1 human being, and that 1 human being is part of my clan. Not their account, but them, as a person. It doesn't matter if they own one account, multiple accounts, or which of them has a rank in the clan chat. We treat them as 1 person, independent of on which account they play. But according to your logic, players would be like Schrödinger's cat. They would be in a clan, but also not in a clan, based on which account they log in to.

Everyone has different requirements for their clan. My clan (if I can say that without logging into my other account), doesn't require the use of the clan chat. Since we're European, many of our members are in country clans as well. Americans don't have that, most of them have english or spanish as a native language. But in Europe, we have many different languages and a lot of country clans. If players want to be in a country clan and an international clan, why not? As long as they don't compete for both clans, it's not an issue. But they should be able to choose. And if players really want to call friends, the clan chat doesn't restrict them that much.

PvM Cup Procedures

1 - Find out what the week’s PvM competition is on the week’s PvM Cup thread. Each competition will have quirky rules that must be followed to ensure old videos are not used.
2 - Make sure you record your attempts at the challenge with a video capturing programme.
3 - Take as many attempts as you like at the week’s challenge during the course of the week.
4 - Your clan representative will compile the 5 best results, upload them on Youtube and submit their links on the week’s PvM Cup thread anytime during the week.
(Submission posts will be hidden asap)

5 - The clan with the best average out of the 5 results will win the week’s Cup.
