These forums are only for the main game

Main game?
I'm not one to start rivalries between versions, but perhaps that's not an ideal word for RS3 :P

What else would you describe RS3 as? It's pretty clear what the main game is in terms of investment and return.

I concur. I always thought the split was the worst, most dumbed down idea ever. I still to this day believe certain worlds could accommodate players of all preferences, and we could all still play together. Even when DarkScape existed, I thought, why the hell? Why couldn't that just be part of a particular server like any other D&D? Same with OSRS - there's no reason its features and additions couldn't be shared. It's like two steps backward to make one step forward, only to create self-brand competition, splitting your player base, thus alienating one of your game's versions fanbases, thus causing them to leave because they don't feel supported or part of a big community anymore.

It's game suicide. Always was. Always will be. Make ONE damn game. Put all the resources you freakin' split up and stretch so thin into ONE good product like it was originally and was always meant to be. Damn. It just makes me so angry. And then the way its spawned this OSRS vs RS3 mentality... How is any of this good for business, even less so for the players?

The worst, most dumbed down idea ever was EoC. I think everyone would've preferred one good game and not having to train over from level 3, but sadly that's not possible anymore. RS3 has in, in many player's eyes, turned to shit. OSRS has 38% more players than RS3 now. OSRS' F2P worlds have 177% more players than RS3' F2P worlds. It's obvious RS3 has taken many bad turns, but as long as it's fanbase will tell everyone who doesn't like it to go to OSRS or turn off their nostalgia filter, we're not getting anywhere. The game's split hurts RS3 more than it hurts OSRS.

In the monthly ban statistics they did for a while, RS3 was listed as "Runescape Main" ;)

I don't know. I've moved over to OSRS and trying to bring my clan with me. Even with just a FC setup, its much more friendlier for clans. Such as content and what not. I guess I will refrain from these forums from now on.

Not to mention that technically speaking OSRS don't have a clan chat system.

OSRS has a clan chat, OSRS has clans, so why would OSRS clan leaders not be welcome here? This forum section is a lot older than RS3's clan chat system. Updates discussed here would be about RS3 obviously, but the CLF isn't only for talking about updates.
