Spirit Trees & Tips

Completion of the Gnome Village quest will allow you to use Spirit Trees. Spirit Trees offer hints to where a Sapling can be found, it also teleports you to the tree when it's grown and will let you know when the next one is due after it dies

Spirit Trees Locations

¤ Grand Exchange
¤ Gnome Stronghold
¤ Gnome Village (Maze)
¤ Khazard Battlefield
¤ Mobilising Armies
¤ Mountains east of Poison Waste (Path of Glouphrie Quest)
¤ Prifddinas
¤ Player planted Spirit Tree


Spirit Tree Reports

• Over an hour = 1 hour - 2 hours – Report as 60+
• Over a half hour = 30 minutes - 1 hour – Report as 30+
• Under a half hour = 15 minutes - 30 minutes – Report as -30
• Under 15 minutes = 5 minutes - 15 minutes – Report as -15
• About to Sprout = 0 minutes - 5 minutes – Report as ATS or About to Sprout


If actively scouting, we usually camp worlds that ATS or Under 15, this is optional but always appreciated

None of these will have a location, type or percentage as they've not sprouted yet

Tips

~The Spirit Tree at Mobilising Armies is very quick to access via Ring of Duelling
~Always check the health by right clicking before you chop
~Even if there's only a few cutters, at 50% you can still get full rewards
~Burn the tree if you have the required level - Great XP to be had
~Remember to bring any extra kindling with you
~You can only do 2 trees per day - This resets at 00:00 Game Time

Non Evil Elder Trees

Non Evil Elders can be found in various places and they last for 5 minutes after you start to chop them - The timer will count down regardless of whether you continue to chop them or not. Once the tree has been depleted, it takes about 10 minutes of in game time to respawn, so it's advised to hop around 3 or more trees so you don't need to spend time waiting. As they are instanced, there's no need to report them in chat when you find them. They require level 90 Woodcutting to cut, and they are great for Firemaking & Fletching so they sell very well on the Grand Exchange


Crystal Trees

Crystal Tree reports are very welcome in our clan chat, they require 94 Woodcutting to chop and they stay active for around 2 hours at a time. There are 7 different locations that they can be found but only one is active at a time, you can check the location direction by right clicking them. Here's the list of possible areas they can be:

-Lighthouse
-Seers Village
-Gnome Stronghold
-Brimhaven
-Falador
-Observatory
-Yanille

Shooting Stars

Our clan hunts most star waves, especially in the evening Game Time. If you would like to hunt with us, or help us mine some, do let us know. We usually call them out as we find, and if you need any help with hunting them, just ask - We don't bite! :)

Stars can be mined as often as you wish, but you can only hand in 200 dust per day to the alien in the middle of the star. The alien will give you 50,002 Coins, 52 Astral Runes, 152 Cosmic Runes & 20 Noted Gold Ore in exchange for your 200 dust

Terms we use when star chasing:

¤ Tag - If you are the first person to attempt to mine a star, you will get some extra XP at the start
¤ Tubby or Tubbied - The star has been mined fully and you can now trade in your dust to the alien
¤ Star Wave - Stars fall every 2 hours on every members world
¤ ETA - Expected Time (of) Arrival


Star Levels

¤ Size 1 - Level 10 Mining
¤ Size 2 - Level 20 Mining
¤ Size 3 - Level 30 Mining
¤ Size 4 - Level 40 Mining
¤ Size 5 - Level 50 Mining
¤ Size 6 - Level 60 Mining
¤ Size 7 - Level 70 Mining
¤ Size 8 - Level 80 Mining
¤ Size 9 - Level 90 Mining
