Welcome to

Chase Trees

! We are a skilling and social clan chat that specialise in hunting Evil Trees (Woodcutting + Firemaking XP) and searching for Shooting Stars (Mining XP). These D&D's lie very close to our hearts and our ranks are a dedicated, hardworking and experienced bunch. Many have been doing this since D&Ds were released in game! We are also dedicated in teaching others how it all works. In recent times, we've seen our Ironman and Hardcore Ironman community grow and more are always welcome. We are very happy to hunt for trees and stars, or whatever else you may need, just pop in chat and let us know. Remember to keep an eye on chat in case there are any calls ^_^

However, this is not all that we do, below you can find a range of activities and events that may interest you:

¤D&Ds - We do several D&Ds on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

¤Bossing/PVM - We have several clannies who love to boss and pvm, they're also willing to teach new players how to fight them

¤Dungeoneering - Team up together and master our way through floors, happy to take both experienced and inexperienced players

¤Questing - We sometimes quest together, and help others through difficult quests and quest fights

¤Co-Op Slayer - Lots of us like to slay together, especially when new monsters are released so that we have someone on hand to help

¤Group Skilling - Take on those less interesting skills together and make it a lot more fun

¤Help/Advice/Guidance - We are also here to help in any way that we can, whether you're a new player, old player, returning player, experienced player, less experienced player, normal mode, ironman, hardcore ironman, F2P, P2P, casual player or just looking for some advice, pop in and say hello!

Our clan is always open to guests ^_^

In addition to above, we also have a

Weekly Skilling Competition

. Each week, a different skill is chosen and clannies & guests have a week to gain as much XP as possible in the skill. At the end of the week, the player that gained the most XP in the chosen skill will win a prize. Clannies are automatically added to the competition, and guests can request to be added by posting here and/or messaging an

overseer+

For guests, you can enter our chat by clicking the Clan Chat tab and then clicking on the icon that looks like a yellow man and a green man, and then the middle green button that allows you to visit clans. A box will appear where you type in Chase Trees and press enter. To talk while guesting in our clan, type

Chase Trees Clan do not have many rules, as we do not feel the need for it. Our clan runs very smoothly with the few simple rules that we do have in place:

1. Please do not venture in our clan chat if you have an offensive account name. If you do and we feel it's offensive, we will private message you and ask you to leave and change it before returning to the chat. If your private message is turned off, we will ask you to do this in the chat

2. Please follow all of Jagex rules at all times

3. Please be respectful towards other clannies & guests

4. Please do not swear or use bad language in the chat. Abbreviated words such as wtf are okay but only in moderation

5. No Drug references to be used in chat or you will be reminded in pm that it is not allowed

The following are fine to do in our chat:

1. Offtopic chat - We're a chatty clan and like talking!

2. F2P, Members, Ironman & Hardcore Ironman are welcome in our chat. We have no limitations for your account type

3. Quick Chat is fine to be used

4. Other languages are fine to be used as long as they comply with our other rules

5. You're always welcome to ask if there's any trees, stars or other D&Ds around

6. Most importantly, have fun!

Chase Trees

are a

Tier 7 Clan

with a

Fully Upgraded Citadel

. We have all of the skilling plots which are available to be used at any time. These include:

Woodcutting, Firemaking, Cooking, Mining, Smithing, Crafting & Summoning

. We do ask all clannies to visit our citadel once a week and main their fealty (3 stars) if possible, this helps keep our citadel upgraded and allows the use of our clan avatars for extra XP, it also allows you to gain some extra bonus XP from the Quartmaster in the Keep. We are also very appreciative of everyone who helps out each week ^_^

If you come to our events, d&d's and so on, remember to bring your vex! It helps to spread the word about our wonderful clan and hopefully attract like-minded members

Our ranked clan members help moderate the clan chat to ensure that everything is running as it should be. We have good, mature ranks in the clan who are very dedicated and hardworking. Clan Ranking System

Guests - Everyone can guest in our clan without joining, for as long as they wish

Recruit - New players to the clan, everyone is initially a recruit when they join

Corporal-General - Dedicated players of the clan who have earned progress by being involved and helping out

Admin - Members that have 3 fealty at the citadel and maintain it. They can also use the clan avatar as they wish!

Organiser - Players that are more involved with the clan, attend events, help out newcomers, etc

Co-Ordinator - Players that are involved with some of the bigger decisions for the clan as well as recruiting, bumping the forum thread, helping with events & moderating the chat

Overseer - Players that really go above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing of the clan, they are also involved in some of the bigger decisions for the clan as well as helping with promotions

Deputy Owner - Players that care deeply for Chase Trees and oversee the running of the clan as well as keeping the best interests of the clan at heart <3

Avatar Info

We have 3 clan avatars that Admin+ are welcome to use as they wish. While skilling with the avatar, you will gain 6% if the avatar is close to you. If the avatar is on the same world as you but not close to you then you will gain 3% extra XP instead. To get the bonus, you will need to feed the avatar 300 orts which can be found while skilling & killing. If you're planning to log out for more than 15 minutes, please remember to dismiss the avatar otherwise it may go AWOL

Fealty must be maintained at 3 stars to keep your admin & avatar warden status. If it is not maintained then you risk losing this ability and will have to earn it again to use it. If you're going inactive, please do let us know!

Evil Tree Requirements

Evil Trees require a hatchet to chop them, and a tinderbox to burn them. However, these items should already been on your toolbelt. To access quick teleporting to evil trees, it's recommended that you complete the Gnome Village quest so you can use Spirit Trees. Remember to bring your kindling if you have some left over from a previous tree as well!
