As for this week, it will be Runecrafting. I guess now we have less methods avaiable: basically runespan. However, I did some research and testings, and there are some tips that can help:
- It is worth finding the yellow wizard and giving him the runes he asks for. You can help the yellow wizard every 10 minutes, and the wizards teleport every 4.5 minutes, so time yourself accordingly. It would be better if there was someone not on session at runespan together with the ones working on it to locate the wizard while the others keep siphoning nodes.
- Gather plenty of pure essence before starting the session, as well as a decent amount of every rune (with even more body runes than the others – they are used commonly on the highest level of runespan), you will need them for transportation and for helping the yellow reason.
- The more people siphoning a node, the longer it lasts (on average), so it's worth getting a group to go to runespan for the session.
- The nodes in order of most efficient to siphon to less is: undead souls > bloody skulls / living souls > nebulae > shifters > skulls / blood pools > jumpers.
- A practical rule to use is traveling one island per difference of “tier” of node (based on the list above). For example, if you are siphoning a nebula and an undead soul appears 2 islands away, you should hop to that island. (this is just a broad rule, not necessarily strictly accurate).
- The small islands slithgly east and south of the centre seem to spawn higher level nodes more frequently (this description was a bit vague, I can show it in game later).
- And of course, have an avatar summoned on that world!

Wood cup results are in and I am over the moon with the first result. We have no idea of the total number of clans that actually completed the week but by my count 126 clans entered full teams, a handful entered part teams and another small number were late entries. So count on 130-135 strong competition.
Well done Pest, Heart, Pim, Yana, revenge, Lesthe, Wise Thoth, Wee Bairn, Awildkat & Zidane. You all did us really proud. Thanks to all that helped the skillers, many in the clan pitched in with their time - the skillers could not have done it without you.
I cannot give you your individual contributions, Jagex are not breaking the results down to individual level. At this stage they are not giving the rankings for clans below 50th nor giving the clan xp rates gained (though this may come later).
We are into Runecraft week - well done Pyp for starting us off today and getting us onto the scoreboard, and Yana for for helping her. The big 2 ways to help this week, hold an Avatar for the skill session or keep them company

Now Boss and Slayer Cups - I have entered us in both, not intending that we actively try. Boss Cup is in 2 parts - the most kills of qbd & arraxor (no way, this will be won by clans with close to 500 active members who can blast these 2 24/7) & the fastest kill time for Nex + hardmode Varago. I entered us just in case Wilmer, Wise, Dimi and anyone else had a blinder of a session at Nex
Slayer cup is Fish Cup week (week 4) and again not a serious entry. It is judged on the most slayer xp gained by the whole clan for the week, so again is for the big 500 member pvm clans. But I thought, hey we have several slay training at lets see where we get without trying (Skill Cups are our priority so the needs of the Fish team will come first)

Rune results are out - 7th
- Well done Anticrich, China, Wilmer, Wise Thoth, revenge, Mouse, Lesthe, Pypfytr & Yana. You have carried the clan's pride with you - well done .
EDIT - Ok results came out close to my bedtime last night and I was ecstatic at our 7th place. However it appears that all was not well in the stats collection department and there was to be a recount. New results are in, our place has changed

Now onto mining. Two of us did a session today and there was diffidence in our result which should not have been there. This got me thinking.
INDIVIDUALLY when can do great, ENMASSE we can do even better. - I suggest a mass skilling session for as many in the team that can - starting slightly before Wed / Thursday reset (the reset AFTER peng, citadel, circus etc). We start together and when we have finished the joint part of the session everyone tellies to their chosen skill area (which is a reason why lrc maybe a better congregating place).
Some points have been made in fb. For those without access or unsure what we are up to then ask me in game
- as many of the clan as are on to be with us for the initial activity with their contributions and mining.
For a list of useful items and activities again talk to me or another on the mine team. As we discovered today small things are making a huge difference.
