No I don't think I will return to the FC community. The way things are run are terrible.
I took some time to look back through complaints in this thread, as well as put together my own experiences, and I'm definitely not happy with it.
First off, majority of the officers are zero-tolerant and power mad. You say one thing they don't like and they'll threaten to boot you. I had stopped talkin in FC other than to call out Stars because of that before.
Second, I feel like my call outs were blatantly ignored. This could be foul luck for me, but anytime I called out stars, no one would come. I've been apart of the FC community ingame for a very long time, and have made hundreds of call outs to no one appearing.
Third, the stars I have gone to, people never stayed at. Most of the time a star disappears before it can be fully broken down, at least in my experience with being in it. It might as well be that I never even go to the stars if no one's going to help break it. They get their 200 pieces and just leave the star, never helping to finish it off.
Finally, I don't like how the FC's rules are so tightened down that anyone can be considered a terrible person, especially in the toxic powermad officers' eyes. As I stated above, I've made hundreds of call outs in the past but I decided not to do ONE arrival callout, and I was immediately threatened to be banned from the FC for it.
I left the FC on my own accord before the said officer executed the ban, and I don't plan to step foot back into it unless things make a drastic change. Since I don't see that happening, I The Shooting Star D&D may be a good Mining XP generator, but I can do well without using Star Find, and I can do well without the verbal abuse that the officers give to the players.
