I'm sure it doesn't need to be said that I'm here with a "rule" problem.

Super-strict rules when the Mobs first came out made sense as the chat was flooded with crap. These days, I'd have to say it is wrong for players to be banned or even warned for something as harmless as giving the Mob boss type.

1. The idea that calling the demon title encourages leeching is silly now. Leeches were a "problem" when Demon Slayer pieces were worth a couple million a piece. Since dealing a certain amount of damage and staying in combat with the boss is required to qualify for a drop, anyone who would have been considered a leech in the past is honestly just another demon hunter in this struggling D&D.

2. I agree with the idea that ranked players should not be forced to scout or fight Demon Mobs, but maybe it is best that they start making judgements based on the health of the community rather than the dated rules of the chat. I come back to Runescape every 4-6 months because I enjoy Dungeoneering and Demon Mob hunting, so it is VERY saddening to have one of my last nights of demon hunting end because someone actually looking for demons was kicked for giving a demon's type. That did not deserve a warning, and thank god they did not apologize and reinforce another player's toxic mentality.


I seriously hope this was a one time incident, and I hope that the DemonMobs FC's older ideas are reworked into something more empathetic for the modern Scaper. When I come back in the future, I hope that active players are encouraged to do what we joined the FC for: hunt demons.

I would like to join as a rank because I would like to have the opportunity to better communicate ideas with people that use demon flash mobs. It would be nice to have more passionate people being able to communicate with the leaders of the friend chat.
• Do you have any past experiences in moderating other FC's? If so, which FC(s)?
I do not.
• Are you Highly knowledgeable in Jagex's Rules and understand what is allowed and what is not?
Yes I do. I regularly report others I see breaking jagex’s rule and have never been warned or banned as far as I know.
* Do you agree on all of our FC rules? If not, which rule you disagree with and why?
I do not fully agree that all members need to bring armor. But I see that is says best owned. I bought 6 months worth of in game membership with bonds for premier club and cannot at the moment afford high tier armor.
• Do you understand that you are Expected to moderate while you are inside the FC? (You are NOT obligated to join the FC though)
Yes I will do my part in moderating the friend chat to the best of my ability while inside it.
• Did you read, understand, and agree with all the guidelines regarding the Ranks?
Yes, friendly responsible and mature attitude.
* What is your Time-zone?

Yes

I would love to suggest that multiple people use an online document to pool scouting information. I will link a video showing an example of how it can be used. And will provide the link to the spreadsheet if i’m given permission to do so.

Why do you want to join us as a Rank and what interests you in our FC and this activity?
I want to join the fc as a rank because I enjoy the minigame, yet fine that there are many in the fc that break the rules during hunts. I would also like to join as a rank because there are no active ranks. This has caused the fc to lose focus and purpose.

• Do you have any past experiences in moderating other FC's? If so, which FC(s)?
I have moderated my own FC in the past, and currently moderate my clan chat.

• Are you Highly knowledgeable in Jagex's Rules and understand what is allowed and what is not?
I have been playing since 2002. I am extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the rules.
* Do you agree on all of our FC rules? If not, which rule you disagree with and why?
I agree with the rules of the fc.

I intend to always be lurking in the fc (if not actively participating in the hunts). This will allow me to moderate on an as needed basis.

I enjoy hunting a lot! Its about the only thing I do in-game anymore. Ive been hunting with the FC for a while now, about a few years since 2015 when lucine, laser4u hogroid, lisamary

Moderating in wbs for vip bands general rank, was disbanded

Yup, I already try to encourage new players to read the FC rules.

USA-Eastern, I usually play at from 2-3pm-8am my times.

Actually, from my time with the FC I have a few small suggestions:

-The "No Leeching" rule could be extended to include adrenaline. I see a lot of players on wave just sitting at 100% adrenaline and basically AFKing and also coming to a wave with less than required gear for their combat level and stats.
-The use of "Range" could be discouraged. The demons have a very high ranged defense and it isn't much of an improvement when using "Demon Slayer" equipment. However, if melee or mage stats are lacking then it all right.
-Include "amulet of glory (4)" under "Suggested Tools" for quicker a

I would like to do some demon flash mobs. I am interested because I like the activity and am already looking for a mob for over a week now. I cannot seem to find the right people

I agree with the rules, except to my opinion you should also be able to join with a non-main account. Mainly because we always need more people :) . This is my main account though, so i do not go against the rules.

Being a very active player and spending the majority of my time on Runescape hunting demons, I feel I can contribute to the FC by providing moderation to ensure the group functions as intended, in addition to providing support to new members. I’ve been active in the group for approximately 5-6 months now and have built a solid reputation for myself. While I may not be the best hunter (in terms of DPS, kill times, etc), I try to compensate by contributing as much as I can to the community. I can assure you, if you asked any current FC member their opinion on me, you would only hear good things.

• Do you have any past experiences in moderating other FC's? If so, which FC(s)?
No, I do not. However this could be my first… everyone has to start somewhere!

• Are you Highly knowledgeable in Jagex's Rules and understand what is allowed and what is not?
Absolutely, I have played for close to 15 years on and off, using numerous accounts and with time I have developed a very strong understanding of Jagex’s rules.

* Do you agree on all of our FC rules? If not, which rule you disagree with and why?
Yes, I agree with all rules. I’ve read them over several times.

Of course! This is the whole reason I’m applying; I figure since I spend so much time hunting on this FC, I would be a fantastic candidate to moderate it. While doing so, I can facilitate the group ensuring rules are always followed and in addition guide new player. (I.e recruiting and directing new players to the rules and instructions.)

Yes, I do. Very straight forward.
