Hello, welcome to Demon Flash Mobs activity thread. This thread is for calling Demon Flash Mobs locations within the various Worlds of RS, *Excluding ALL the Wilderness locations* , and for applying as a Rank to help make the FC a better place and allow our team of Demon Hunters expand further!

Few Notes: (read first)

1. Mobs Announcements will ALWAYS appear in the non-filtered Game Chat.

2. After you have received a mobs announcement/call to track down; make sure you have opened the World Map and *Double Clicked* on the Mobs location to mark it down. (Red Demon head icon on the map)

3. The words/letters in the brackets are the abbreviations of the locations.

• Feldip Hills (FH)
Getting there: Use Fairy Ring code A-K-S, or run South east of Castle Wars.

• West Ardougne (WA)
Getting there: Use Ardougne Loadstone and head directly west (across the river too), or use a Spirit Tree to teleport to Tree Gnome Stronghold and run south-east.

• South-east of the Edgeville Monastery (Edge)
Getting there: Teleport with the Edgeville lodestone and run south.

• West of the Mage Training Arena (MTA)
Getting there: Teleport to Duel Arena using a Ring of duelling and run North, or teleport using Al Kharid Loadstone and run far North.

• South-west of Port Phasmatys (PP)
Getting there: Use Ectophial teleport tool and run south and slightly west, or use Fairy Ring code: A-L-Q and run south, or use Canifis Loadstone teleport and run south east.

• North of the Poison Waste (PW)
Getting there: Use Tirannwn Loadstone teleport (recommended), or use a Teleport crystal to Lletya and run the rest there (no longer recommended).
(Must have started Regicide Quest)

• North-west of Menaphos (Mena)
Getting there: Teleport with the Bandit Camp Lodestone and run south.

• West of the Ruins of Uzer (Uzer)
Getting there: Use Carpet System (from Shanty Pass) and travel to Uzer then run slightly south west, or Use Fairy ring code: D-L-Q and run north.

1. Follow all Jagex Rules.

2. No Wilderness Locations reporting is allowed. If the mob is in the Wilderness just say WW and try a different World or wait for another caller.

3. No off-topic chat during the Active Mobs waves. Off-topic is allowed when mobs are completely inactive, however.

4. Only ask for an active Mob World once you have entered the FC, but don't continue doing so, otherwise you will be removed from the FC for leeching. If you want a mob, then help us find one or wait patiently for a call but don't demand it in any way.

5. No Profanity (all sorts of swearing and obscene language, including abbreviations ), even if it was not directed on anyone, is not allowed.

6. No trust trades promoting/advertising is allowed in the FC, doing so will result in being permanently BANNED from the FC.

7. Bless dead players graves and do NOT Loot their graves .

8. No false locations reporting is allowed. Knowingly false callers will be banned from the FC.

9. No leeching.

10. You must at least bring the essential Armour pieces equipped (helmet, body, and legs) when participating with the mobs, and if using a dual wield weapon, an off-hand must be present (except when tanking, a shield would). Plus, the essential Armour pieces used must not provide negative accuracy with the weapon used.

The Tier of the essential gear used must not be more than 20 level lower than the maximum tier unlocked for your levels (keeping in mind the top gear tier ends at level 90).

Example:
You have level 70 Defence and Magic. You must take tier 50 or higher.

2nd example:
You have 99 Defence and Magic. You must take Tier 70 gear or higher.

Note: Silverlight/Darklight swords, Superior Elite Void armour, Enchanted Water Tiara and Holy Water are an exception to this rule. It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation. ~Herman Melville

11. You must have player-examine privacy settings turned off, so we can make sure you are using the eligible gear whilst hunting the mobs.

12. No offensive Names will be allowed within the FC. Offensive names include but are not limited to: Names with obscene language, drugs reference, Racism, Cruelty, admitting breaking a rule, presenting a rule violation in a positive manner. If you enter the FC with a name deemed offensive, you may expect being removed without warning.

13. You may not enter the FC using an alternative, non-main account, if your main account was not allowed to enter the FC, by either a kick, a ban, or a simple justified request by a rank to leave the FC (which will only happen for a valid and fair reason).

14. Don't harass the ranks or users to hunt for Mobs locations or to contribute in the fights, no one is obligated to do that, it is all left to their discretion to decide.

15. Avoid requesting/questioning/discussing kicks. The FC Moderators will be given guidelines and they will take actions accordingly. Such requests and/or discussions; will lead to spam and unwanted arguments. If you have a problem with an action a FC Moderator have taken; feel free to PM them to discuss it.

16. No trolling or false advice giving, especially during the fights. Example: Telling others to use prayers during the fights.

17. No advertising of other Demon Mobs FC's/CC's.

18. No Demon slayer equipment/Titles (or any other item) selling/buying/price discussion in the FC.

Important Fighting Tips
*°•.¸


• Unless you're being attacked by the Demon Boss; don't use ANY sort of prayers (excluding protect item prayer) while fighting the demons. Otherwise you will receive CRITICAL hits and DIE in no time.

• Try fighting from distance using either Range or Magic. Rangers might find Demon Slayer armour useful as it gives boost to damage against demons.

• Bring your best available gear. However, if you have a bad Internet Connection, then bring your cheapest gear.

• Bring a lot of high-healing food.

• Bring combat stats boosting potions (Supers/Extremes/Overloads).

• Use abilities constantly and don't rely on Momentum if you are using EOC.

• Consider that "DOA" abbreviation means "dead on arrival", so instantly hop to the next called mob when you hear that abbreviation for a specific World.

• If your current slayer task is Greater Demons, bring a Full Slayer Helmet instead of whatever helmet you were going to use, as the boss is classified as a greater demon.

• Have freedom on your abilities bar to cancel out the glorious and frostborn Demon Boss stunning attacks. It can also cancel out any damage-over-time effect. Debilitate and reflect abilities are useful when tanking.

• If you are a melee'er, or a mage using wand and orb, you may wish to carry a shield so you can use rejuvenate after a boss fight. In addition to restoring HP, the ability also restores combat stats, allowing you to recover from fighting an 'Obscured' Demon boss.

• Regarding The Obscured Demon Boss; you may also want to note that the
stat-draining ability of the boss will not affect those that stand sufficiently far away from it. Ranged and magic users should take advantage of this fact.

Scouting and Hunting Tips

• Mobs Announcements will ALWAYS appear in the non-filtered Game Chat. So make sure you always have the chat on that for more efficient scouting.

• Once the location of the Demon has been announced either by the fc or through a game message; make sure you have opened the World Map and *Double Clicked* on the Mobs location to mark it down. (Red Demon head icon on the map) This will help you find it easier.

* In order to hop to peoples worlds you have two methods: Either right click their name in the FC list and select "Join", or use the quick hop feature found under game settings. You can also access the quick hop menu by right-clicking the world map icon in minimap.

Ring of duelling
. Provides a quick teleport to Duel Arena, which is located south-east of the demon spawn location, near the mine.

•
Ectophial
. Provides an instant teleport to Port Phasmatys, and an excellent emergency teleportation tool. Completion of Ghosts Ahoy quest is required to own this item.

•
Enchanted Water Tiara
. Provide a convenient protection from the desert heat, without the need to hold waterskins in inventory. Completion of Dealing with Scarabas quest is required to own this item.

•
TokKul-Zo Ring
. Provides an instant teleport to The Fairy Ring network and banks (you must choose to teleport to Fight Caves though). Completion of The Elder Kiln quest is required to own this item.

Completion of Desert Treasure, One Small Favour, Fairy Tale II quests, can also provide better transporting methods for even better scouting! It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation. ~Herman Melville

Note: You only need to deal at least 500 damage in a single attack on the demon boss; to be eligible for a drop at the end of the Flash Mob. However you must remain in combat for the whole duration of the fight to get a drop, otherwise you will lose your chance of receiving it.

The Demon Flash Mobs will sometimes drop unique items that you will wish to keep or sell for a fairly high price. Please note that the G.E price and Street price; significantly differ.

• Demon slayer gear:

° Demon slayer circlet
° Demon slayer torso
° Demon slayer skirt
° Demon slayer gloves
° Demon slayer boots

• Demon slayer crossbow

• Off-hand demon slayer crossbow

• Demonic Title Scroll

• Demon Claw (summoning ingredient)

Jagex indicated with the demon slayer equipment you will get a boost to the damage dealt and experience gained while fighting demons for each piece of the gear you equip. A full set of the gear makes the crossbows better than their dragon equivalents when fighting demons. It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation. ~Herman Melville

Guidelines for Ranks

As a Ranked player, you are expected to moderate the FC and call the rules when needed and kick those who do not follow them, as well as thanking the users who contribute in locations calling. However kicking members must be your LAST resort when dealing with disruptive users. Note that when you don't want to moderate the FC, simply don't join it.

You must also keep the FC owner (Lucine) on your friends list, as long as you're ranked. That will be necessary, as you will be given feedback based on how you're moderating the FC, as well as giving you necessary guidance on how to deal with various situations coming across.

If you need to absent for a long time, then post on this thread about it and include the expected time that you will be absent for.

Friendly, responsible, and mature attitude is highly required.

Avoid using any sort of derogatory language or profanity. You are expected to spread positive behavior in the FC, not the opposite.

If you came by an offensive user(s), give them 2 warnings before you kick them. If the warnings have been ignored; then you are free to remove the user(s) from the FC. That includes but is not limited to: The use of profanity (that are not directed on anyone), light arguments or conflicts with other members, off-topic chat, light spamming.

However, serious violations MUST be dealt with, with instant removal, that include but not limited to: Knowingly false calling, knowingly trolling others and advising them to use prayers against the Demons, admitting breaking a Jagex's Rule that normally get you permanently muted or banned from the game, using profanity and directing it on an individual or a group of players. Giving the user(s) a 2nd chance in these situations will be considered as poor moderating.

Note that you are only encouraged to participate in the Mobs calling and fighting, but not obligated to. It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation. ~Herman Melville
