Plus we're all missing out on the bigger picture here.

Whats the whole point on converting from rc to LP when theres hardly anything to get with LP?

If anything shouldnt it be the other way around?

Thus this is even more pointless than it already is.

Well, they need a lot of loyalty points to buy anything, so there is always going to be a market if people want any of the rewards. New players, future players, I don't even have all the rewards yet.

Maybe they could change the name of the loyalty shop to also include payments.

I don't know about people having runecoins stashed. If they bought them with money it doesn't matter if they use them now, but if people have a lot from amazon promos or whatever that might be an issue.

Maybe if people have a lot of runecoins Jagex can have a sale on older items to clear them out, then introduce a loyalty swap.

The same way everyone else does.

A reason to upkeep their membership so they can get them once they get enough points.

I mean come on, there needs to be reasons to keep you on the membership side and LP is one of them.

Plus with ppl asking for auras to be made available ingame, thats one less reason to have LP.

Then theres the fact not everyone cares for cosmetics thus there other 2 points lose their meaning.

Just like the crowns, LP are meant to be gained from having continuous membership just like how you can only obtain rc ingame from bonds.

But it locks out a lot of content from new players, and that's why Jagex has been thinking about reworking LP, or actually turning it into something else.
