so portable sawmills are now basically completely 100% useless with the Fort Forinthry update, the sawmill that is there doesn't cost any gp to make logs into planks.


maybe bring the chance to obtain a protein plank when using the portable sawmill back again.

or


add a special effect to where portable sawmills have a chance to automatically do your whole inventory in 1 go.

The new process of creating planks may be free and even grants a couple of construction xp, but it's slower than using a sawmill - the ones at rimmington and prif also do exist and the portable one is a replication of that (with slightly reduced fees and the ability to do this directly at a bank). It's more a question if you value more your time or money.

Well and then there's the lunar spell, which requires runes more expensive than that fee on top of some arbritary montary fee, that made sense in 2006, but certainly no longer today. That thing certainly is useless. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
