So the ppl wanting this are the ones who seemingly only play during said times or choose to be in the more populated areas where these are.

I actually support this idea. I find that pets can often impede how my client functions (even on basic settings, and no I can't just upgrade my pc to a better one, because I can't afford to.) and at busy times or during events like dxp or that boat building thing, pets created even more lag.

Also as someone who has a major fear of spiders, seeing the spider pets can cause more problems than theyre worth, resulting in me either moving areas and stopping whatever I was training, or leaving the game altogether. I've come to terms with the smaller ingame ones like in Lumbridge, but I'll never go to Araxxor.

I would love to see the option to be able to turn off the view of all player followers, no matter what they are. At the end of the day, I only want to worry about my follower, not everyone elses.

Oh wow, its almost like most people lead a normal life and only have limited free time to play. Its almost like there are plenty of people who work 9-5. Its almost like most players are for similar regions and thus are in similar time zone. Its almost like certain areas in the game have certain conveniences that attract and promote social skilling by game design.

Ppl should know by now how big the drakes are so if ppl choose to have the out, and they have every right to, then you should know to just deal with it or do one one of the things you suggested.

I'm certainly forced to move if I can't see my character at a bank when a drake covers it up and I lose my point in game space. I'm not disagreeing with people having their pets out, I could care less about pets, it's the fact that only one pet obscures my character and it shouldn't.

When you stand on a pile of people, you see your character because it associates you in the game space. If the character is hidden from view, it's nothing short of frustrating. Hence my suggestion, to prevent pets from covering up characters and POV should always take precedence of your own character on top of a stack.

Still agree nobody should be forced into leaving what they are doing, being forced to interact with other pets they can't gain anything from, or be forced to tolerate lag, just because somebody paid a buck for a pet.

Jagex made excellent revenue on the Legendary pets in Solomon's and can use that revenue to make this small change, which can only serve to make peoples' lives in runescape more satisfying and enjoyable.

If somebody really has a problem with clutter in the interface, I know several options in them that can easily be removed and/or simply be made entirely passive effect. Such as virtual levels, can be made passive so we all always see what level it actually is, instead of the toggle off, saying 99/99 when we have the xp of 109/99. Assuming they eventually want all skills to eventually be 120. It'd just be removed later anyway.

Support, a) it’s a GREAT DEA, could also include the annoying teleport animations, and ridiculous walks and twitches, I often stand on top of others to avoid the frankly idiotic hot sand walks etc
And b) I support anything to annoy Blackwing😋
As has been said earlier if people want to see it let them, I for me don’t as it is annoying and also makes my eyes hurt. I know what I want to do, but can rarely achieve it

Add me to that support list! I would also like to toggle someone's pet sound (like the darn cat meowing, etc) and them saying something. Hard to sometimes define and NPC talking to you or someone's pet, such as in the Deep Sea Fishing hub.
