No support, part of the reason why people acquire pets is because others can see them, so it'd be unfair for them to not be able show them to everyone around them. If you don't like company like that, you can hop worlds and/or switch locations (where applicable).

Additionally, it'd clutter the options interface even further (K.I.S.S.) and add extra work to QA to ensure that the game works with both it toggled on and off.

I totally agree. It's nice to let others know what pets you have. :)

Nice you say? For what share of players?

Support this or either a fix for the players these pets cause problems for, even though personally I'm unaffected.

That or offer through SGS an item that instantly drops player's FPS and/or freezes their game up. Prolly would be a damn good cash-grab they'd pull off considering how many people love making other people's life miserable.

I feel bad for the people negatively affected by these pets, and was glad to see the removal of followers from artisan's due to complaints.

Have had a fair share of meeting up people with the same pet or a pet that the other person would want too, and the conversations that spark up are the best! > )

You're probably joking here, but let's be serious: if Jagex added a toggle for pets, it'd make the bought pets a disgusting cash-grab. Jagex knows full well that other people seeing the pets is a part of the reason why people buy them, so to dispose of that is practically deception towards the players who bought the pets, since pets can be easily avoided if you don't like them.

If a toggle was added, Jagex would probably look into making something else that players can use to show to others, and then repeat the same thing with a toggle to turn it off, once again deceiving those buyers. All the while the non-buyers would never learn to be tolerant of other players who aren't to their taste. You really don't want to encourage that.

Also don't forget to take into consideration that some players may already have grown older and those take the gameplay more practically. And I would say there is a fair part of such long-playing people, so it would be certainly unwise to ignore them.

You may say the conversations sparked by interest are the best, but that's merely your opinion, while I'm concerned with how many more times I've seen complaints started because owners refuse to change their playstyle that causes problems for others. Namely lag, and the frustration of being forced to tolerate something that causes them lag, and nobody caring that you can't do anything about it.

Nothing is changed for those people you claim are only buying the pets because others see them. Others will still see them, others, who are interested in pets will see them. And those conversations are the best, right?

All you can say is that it's "practically" deception. Which it's not. If people care about your purchase, they will see it. If it bothers them, don't force them. If it causes additional problems for them, don't force them.

Quit worrying about why a person doesn't want to see it. Fact is they don't, and you are forcing it on them regardless and saying if it bothers them, they have to leave and world hop. A toggle is the simple option and it's hardly a difficult task for the company in a game that has countless toggles.

Many of those could be removed if you think there's a space issue. Like virtual levels. Just make it a passive effect and display the virtual level and remove the toggle. See if people complain when it's replaced by one with a beneficial function.
Your opinions here can affect us all. Please post for the better

I support, sick of game crashing or screen being overwhelmed with flying pets.

Then zoom out or go someplace else.

If you choose to stay in an area that has them knowing that these things happen, thats on you.
