troll invasion reward issue

Hi All

I was bored so I decided to do troll invasion and I completed the 7 waves of hard mode but when I tried to get the reward the option wasn't there. I can talk about rewards or how to play but collecting the reward wasn't possible. So I thought I will try and start it again and it will make me collect the reward and will say its already completed or whatever. However it just let me play again on hard mode and after that I still didn't get a reward. I can't see any other posts about this so thought I would ask.

I will of course file a bug report.

Anyone else had issues or does nobody bother playing troll invasion these days?

You should get the book directly in your inventory as soon as you've finished the event, but I haven't done them for a while. Dunno what happens though, if it happens to be full. But all in all it's not super great xp anyway compared to what you could achieve with regular skilling in that time.

/edit: Just tried it out - got my TH key for starting the event and the xp book for finishing it. No need to talk to anybody, it just was there, as it should be. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

Thanks for the reply, I had 14 empty inventory spaces so that shouldn't be the problem. The fact I was able to immediately restart means the win didn't register I guess..... I know the xp isn't great but regardless you should still get it and for a quick 5 mins it doesn't really stop me doing anything else I want to do.

Are you sure you never already claimed your reward for April? As its almost end of the month you may have forgot. I normally have things like that set as favourites, so it shows up in the D+D tracker near the clock.

You could always use a monthly reset token and try again if you have any or just wait another day till May.

Are you waiting for the game to remove you from the battle when you're done?

It may take a few seconds, but if you leave any other way, it won't count as finished and the reward book won't appear in your inventory.
