The dreadfull volcano star.
The mining part is fine, but then the pyrefiends come.
If you click a bit off or just less dps you get noting.

Solution lower the dps check to at least halve and give the pyrefiends more health less pyrefiends at a time.


What do you all think?
Any suggestion how Jagex could fix this problem?


(no just get better use necro etc is no solution it only adds up towards the problem for lower lvls.) ;)

Have you tried Target Cycling? Go ahead and set a hotkey for either Cycle Target Forwards or Cycle Target Backwards and press that button, and you will automatically target another enemy that is nearby.

Go to Settings -> Controls -> scroll all the way to the bottom, it's just above the Chat section. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?

Jagex basically said combat events are not even intended for low levelled players. They certainly haven't said, what is the intended combat level, but it's clear that most players will require 70-ish things (and probably even a bit more) to stay alive and fulfill their damage quota - albeit I already have seen somebody who did this with a magic shortbow - obviously always asking the players around them to hold back for a bit and needing a bit of luck for not getting focussed down by the fiends.

As dumb as it sounds - if you're having trouble to come by adequate equipment, necromancy is the answer for you. Not only is it packs a lot more of punch than the other styles, it also ensures you'll have level adequate equipment available even as an ironman. I started doing flash events exclusively with necromancy with some 60-ish levels and it worked out just fine - albeit I really wouldn't try it much earlier than that, if you already got other options. I guess using stat buffs or a familiar will help as well - especially when you do not lack much of damage. And yeah - in the end you won't stay low levelled or undergeared forever. Target cycling is a great thing to mention indeed.

I personally do not have to much trouble aside form sometimes lagg and those few lagg seconds are deathly most times not just here ;)

again I never did say I personally did got trouble this is targeting towards the mid range players.
Those have basically no change against players that just want 100k+ dps checks.
