Mix and match percentage contributions of skill and kill and the parallel activity to complete each Task.

At times, it feels as though I'm "wasting" the skill and kill doing other things (my dailies, for example) knowing I'm later going to do the actual activity for some particular Yak Track Task.
If the progress for each Task could be a combination of percentages, then that other RS activity would not feel wasted.

As an example, consider Task 17:

60 skill and kill - OR - bury 550 bones

You could complete 30 skill and kill (50% of the Task) and bury 275 bones (50% of the Task)

OR

You could complete 48 skill and kill (80% of the Task) and bury 110 bones (20% of the Task)

OR

1 skill and kill (1.67%) and bury 541 bones (98.4%)

OR any combination that adds up to 100% of the Task.

Jagex - We will do it, but.....it will be 120 skill and kill OR bury 1950 bones. Can't make it too easy now since they can be mixed. Seems you missed the issue that we want more bond sales. Oh and we are closing the lumbridge catacombs for maintenance during event ;)

Disclaimer: Don't forgot to buy more bonds, events like these 'bond' everyone together as they crash each other at low level spiders because we know someone will get fed up and buy bonds. good day :P

I mean - I actually liked for the most part how they made most xp tasks more adequate by now. A couple of things like herblore (albeit that one probably won't be an issue anymore as soon as the protean shakes become accessible for the general public) and archaeology still are an extremely bad joke for players basically finished with them, but this time there were a quite a few tasks I naturally would have skipped (The sole advantage of s/k is ensuring that there isn't a combination so horrible, players would be forced to skip) or just sat out (yeah - that part became significantly more insufferable this time along).

I mean even if they were to increase the experience required again, I could see less efficient, but possibly profitable methods to become viable for that aspect. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

That would be nice. Just did the Construction task and it was so mind-numbingly boring I think I would have preferred to just do 3+ hours of Archaeology. At least that I can still level plus I can AFK for the most part. I also agree the best way I could see this working is by adding a percentage bar to the tasks where it calculates how much of each task choice you've done.

It is more like 3 minutes of Archaeology instead of 3+ hours if you save up damaged artifacts beforehand.

honestly they should add like 100 rune coins or something sprinkled in the rewards.

The reason people don't care about the rewards is because most of them are junk or useless.
