Does anyone ever use the Nexus

Reason I'm asking is, except for the first few weeks of its existence, I never see anyone using it. Regardless of world. I don't care what world I'm on, and I visit a lot of them while hunting hsooting stras, I NEVER see anyone using the Nexus for RC trainbing.

I also have seen a few threads of ppl looking for "Nexus partners" and not getting any responses.

So,what I"m asking, is why is this thing still in game, taking up a chunk of Lumbridge swamp, with nothing around but a bunch of giant rats who can't do anything with it anyway?

Is there any reason Jagex hasn't removed this unused piece of content yet?
Did I try it? Yes. I thought it sucked, as for runecrafting XP I got much better returns out of RuneSpan.
Not sure how others feel, but feel free to voice your poinions in response.

It's primarily designed to be a low-level method for training Prayer (not Runecrafting). However, it can only be done once - once you've gained all the XP from it, it can never be used again.

I wouldn't propose removing it entirely, but I would suggest:
1) Implementing a way to hide it for players who have already done the content.
2) Making the content less tedious for solo play. This was designed as a group activity, but that only works while player interest remains high.

Apparently, according to this wiki page (

), once you have gained all the xp from it, the arms popping out of the crater will at least disappear.
So at least something is getting hidden once the player has completed it.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

No, because it only has a single achievement in lumby diary where you just talk to the npc for nexus so since completing it isn't even required for comp hence players wanting to comp don't even bother to try out the nexus and why there are no groups for group nexus.

This was my understanding. The Nexus was introduced to give F2P a slow but inexpensive training method for Prayer. In my opinion, it was never a viable method and should be removed completely.

With Prayer being a F2P skill, a much better solution would be to introduce better xp rates for F2P while still keeping them lower than P2P. One option would be to make the Wilderness Chaos Altar F2P. Another option would be to update the Monastery west of Edgeville and allow bones to be sacrificed there for increased xp, but still at lower rates than members' content.
