i just finished rum deal and was pretty underwhelmed when i realised the reward, the holy wrench, was basically useless and most use cases it would be better to bring another potion instead of the wrench.

i think a 100%-200% buff is in order

It's a mid levelled quest, so the effect is not intended to be insanely strong. It also stemmed from a time, in which prayer potions were expensive, so it helped to save a few coins over time. The intention never was to make you stronger, it always only was allowing you to play more economically. With potions being dirt cheap nowadays, it obviously lost that appeal.

They just could allow it to be toolbelted, but that was turned down as "too overpowered" at that time - but considering you can unlock actually gameplay affecting items like a permanent ring of vigour or the infernal box by now, there is literally no reasonable argument against putting the improved wrench after pieces of hate to the belt.
Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
Quick Fixes: Invention

To me the biggest problem with rewards like this is that we have to carry them with us. We have to remember them, and they take up space in the inventory or pocket slot.

I wouldn't mind the reward being kind of mediocre, if it was a passive effect that always worked. Put it in a sort of toolbelt, and the effect is always there.

I never use my holy wrench, or many other rewards for that matter, because they are a pain to handle. Wrench, gem bag, spring cleaner, ectoplasmator, herb bag etc. It gives much less room for food or drops, so they usually stay in the bank.

At least rewards like bonecrusher, herbicide, seedicide, charming imp and gold accumulator can go into the toolbelt. I would like to see that for everything.

I love using my spring cleaner gem bag and ectoplasmator for slayer tasks like abby demons, dark beasts or gargoyles since they drop a lot of alchables/gems so it depends on what u need them for the only one I feel needs improvement is the herb bag since it can't hold noted herbs everything else is great for training slayer wrench I think should be added to tool belt since it's a minor buff it's not op and would actually give it a use aside from sitting in the unwanted quest items section
