Very good news, indeed.

I'm ok with less rewards, as long as threat mechanics NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!

I am ok with no rewards actually. If there is no threat at all in the wilderness, it is just like any other place, so why should there be any rewards for doing things there?

Frankly, I wouldn't be ok with no rewards, but fortunately "less rewards" definitely doesn't mean no rewards.

Rewards and risks/threats must have some dependencies. So far, it is fine to me, but I don't mind getting some more risks/threats back to Wildy so we can get more rewards, after the bigger projects RS3 is going to release.

Something rather easy and effective they can work on perhaps after the new Necromancy skill is to add an opt-in WIldy Threat option similar to opt-in pvp. So, for those who want more challenges and more rewards can opt in to get the volcanoes and randomly spawned mobs, as well as the better rewards back.

But then it has to be comparable to being killed by a player when skulled, and not the laughable death costs they have now. Risking outfit for 300M is dangerous. Risking 25K is not.

If the threat system is to be a replacement for the danger in PvP, then it should cost the same to die. That is what was wrong with the system they just attempted. The cost was so low that we didn't care, at least I didn't. Many times it was even a cheap way of being teleported out of high level wilderness, instead of spending time running back. It was beneficial to die, which is totally wrong.

They still run the risk of losing 300M outfit when they opt-in pvp. Opt-in threat system I suggested doesn't change the opt-in pvp part. We will just be getting more rewards than no threat when opt-in the thread system. We can actually make the opt-in threat system like Enrage, the higher the threat, the higher reward.

3. The nerf to AFK Thieving at the Rogues’ Castle safes was a tad overzealous. Even with the threat system that wasn’t a dangerous activity at all.

That's a bit of an understatement. The only one that would hit was the volcano. The others wouldn't until you left the castle, and you could easily escape them. Esp if you have the wildy tasks done, and can tune the obelisk.
