If you do not need your cape absolutely the next couple of days I would suggest to wait until things have calmed down a bit - it will be much more relaxed to do then.

Other than that I would see them as some nice little distraction, quick to do if you just got time - and maybe you'll even get something nice for that. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

You're unlocking some teleport if you did all the events once, so it's a completable/unlockable to get - which by definition is a fitting requirement for comp cape. Doing 100 events is a random achievement and thus actually unfitting for the trimmed comp - since there is nothing 'completed' afterwards.

But seeing fixing comp has failed so many times now... it's a work creation scheme, so you probably will have engaged with the content for enough... and then you can do 250 events for yet another achievement.

You can also see it the other way around - you're not actually suffering damage by not having the cape - just get it again when you feel like it. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
