I meant having artificer's measure be able to hold more gems than the gem bag upgrade. Not necessarily a big increase but that it seemed like the most feasible way to do what OP seemed to be asking for.
The gem storage option also seems like a feasible alternative since that would likely be helpful to more players. Gem storage could also be useful if they ever decided to add more uses to gems in the future.

100 is more than enough to store the stuff on the go (unless you forget to empty it, but that's not really the fault of the item then).
If you want to have something to save bank slots I'd rather propose something like a material bank.

The measure provides a boost of 100 gems of each kind instead of 60 compared to the upgraded gem bag already.

Let the gem bag, and herb bag for that matter, hold noted items. Or, stop dropping noted gems and herbs. Noted gems and herbs take too many inventory spots when slaying.

fun if you had to collect let's say 5 unnoted dragonstones at once. Honestly that's not even
that
hard - if a monster drops noted gems - or even no gems at all, you can just leave the bag at home, there aren't so many creatures, which would drop multiple kinds of gems at once.
The herb bag is a bit more of an issue in here, since there basically are no relevant monsters, which would drop unnoted herbs in the first place, but yeah - that was designed long before the herb bag even was a thing. I could support unnoting

herb drops at high levelled monsters (slayer level 90 and higher) for that matter.
